loving teachers and administrator in a

5. HISTORY
of

The plan of establishing a
school was conceived and finally
realized through the cooperative
effort of the civic-spirited people of
Barangay Pandeño, Barangay
General Luna, the Municipal
Council headed by then town Mayor
Arcadio R. Releñas, and through the
effort initiated and financial
assistance given by Mr. and Mrs. Go.
S. Kiang.

6. Proper representation was made
by a group composed of Mr. Go S.
Kiang, two Barangay Captains Pablo
Rellosa and Pedro Serrano, Mr.
Daniel J. Acorda, the District
Supervisor and through the
recommendation of Mr. Greogio
Sison, the Division Superintendent of
the School and Congressman
Magdaleno Palacol, the school was
recognized by the government and the
Department of Education.

7. A resolution was passed by
the Municipal council to name the
school as Angela Ong Javier
Memorial Elementary School and
through the help of Congressman
Palacol the request was approved.
This is in honor of the Siniloan’s
first lady teacher named Angela
Ong Javier who was born and
raised in M. Pandeño St.
Siniloan, Laguna.

8. The school was opened in
1969 with two classes, Grade I
and II with an enrolment of 67
pupils. The two classes were
temporarily housed in the
residence of Mr. and Mrs. Juan
O. Javier and Mr. and Mrs.
Jose Rellosa while waiting for
the completion of the two-unit
Marcos Type Building.
