3. Determinan la presencia o ausencia de la puntuación.
S Si se observa, algunos de ellos llevan una puntuación
específica. NO debe alterarse.
S Si no la lleva, NO debe agregarse.
4. Conectan oraciones en TODOS los tiempos verbales de
acuerdo a lo que se quiera expresar.

S Observe:
S I don’t eat instant soup. I dislike it.

S Dad works in Mexico City. He drives everyday.
S Tablets are useful tools. I have one.
S What is the connector in the previous expressions?
S Yes, the PERIOD (punto y seguido/aparte).

13. A Basic Connector
S If you prefer not to use a connector, periods function as
connectors, too.
S It is preferable to use a period to separate sentences,
NOT commas.
S I am a teacher, I work COBAEH. (incorrect)
S I am a teacher. I work in COBAEH. (correct and acceptable)
S I am a teacher, and I work in COBAEH. (excellent)
