Instruction-Procedures:
Talk about the students' favorite animals. What colors are each of the animals?
Handout printed images of animals. Talk about the different colors and shapes of these
animals. Allow the students to create their own pictures of their favorite animal using
colors and shapes.
After drawing their favorite animals, allow students to draw a picture of the animal’s
habitat. Then the students will make a new picture of their favorite animal with paper
shapes.
If students made their animals out of the correct shapes, allow them to glue their
