This lesson plan aims to teach students about different types of animals from around the world and their habitats. Students will choose an animal to identify with and learn about its region. They will then improvise the animal for their classmates to guess. The lesson incorporates singing, improvisation, and a discussion of animals' geographic locations to reinforce learning.

their memory or memorize it again.
The children will choose an animal which they can identify themselves
with. (If one or more students chose the same animal they can work in
pairs).
Students will prepare to improvise there animals (Teacher can help if
necessary).
The students will each have the opportunity to improvise there animal
they can identify themselves with to the class.
Assessment: Each student will have a good understanding of different types
of animals around the world.
Follow-Up: Discuss the regions the animals came from, and have kids be able
to identify them on a map. Also ask the kids why they think the animals live
in that region, look at the resources available for the animals in each region.
3. Description of the lesson plan.
In this lesson plan kids would not only be having fun signing and improvising; but
they would also learn how to locate where an animal is from on a map, and the
surrounding of the animal. Kids would get to improvise with a partner their
animal, and the other kids would have to guess the animal and where it lives.
Description of how geography is used in the lesson plan.
Geography is used in this lesson plan by asking kids to locate the animal in the
map. They will also have a discussion of the regional area of the animal, and it’s
surroundings. Such as how the animal is able to survive in the area, and why its
lives there.
