3. Trigger: The event that releases emotional arousal.
Arousal: A physiological state that is a reaction to stress. The body is
getting ready for action. Involuntary symptoms such as heart beating faster,
breathing increases, face flushes, hands shake or sweat.
Weapon: Every act of violence requires a weapon, a sharp tongue,
hands, knife, etc.
Target: Sometimes the target is a trigger.

People commit acts of emotional violence in
response to pain, a threat or frustration.
