Michael Hill wrote a letter to the judges of his senior project explaining that he chose to learn about chiropractic care as his project. He created an informational brochure and held meetings to educate the public about chiropractic care and the benefits it provides. Hill overcame obstacles in preparing the meetings and speaking about chiropractic care. He intends to pursue a career as a chiropractor after high school to help people live fulfilling lives through chiropractic adjustments and stress reduction.

Dear Judges:
I feel it necessary for everyone to obtain the knowledge of chiropractic care. Learning
about this form of care is essential because of the benefits and lifelong happiness that
follow the adjustments performed by such a Doctor. After getting my High School
diploma I plan to attend chiropractic school at Life University. For my Senior Project I
chose to follow in the footsteps of a chiropractor to see what it is like to be one.
The product I created is a brochure that invited the public to come attend an
informational meeting to spread the word of chiropractic care, and inform the public
about what chiropractic care really is. The public learned about how much we rely on our
spine and how much we use it, along with all the components of the spine. I had obstacles
to overcome to complete my product. I had to reach out to the public and persuade them
the chiropractic informational meeting was worth coming to. I had to find time in my
schedule to prepare several of the chiropractic informational meetings. Also, I had to be
prepared to speak all about chiropractic care at the meeting.
The topic of chiropractic care and all the research I have done has a lot to do with the
career I would like to pursue. I intend to become a chiropractor and continue that as my
career for the rest of my life. I feel as if I would be doing a favor to everyone I come in
contact with as a chiropractor, because chiropractors reduce daily stress and help people
live fulfilling lives.
To me the whole concept of the Senior Project is great in every aspect. In a way it has
allowed me to almost act as if I was actually pursuing the career of chiropractic care.
