3. Asbury Technical Institute, a fixed operations training center, is Asbury
Automotive Group’s first center located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Asbury opened their doors over 15 years ago and some of the stores have
been around since the 1960’s. In 2013 we had more than 7,000 employees
in 10 states worldwide.
Asbury Automotive Group is a dynamic company known for its solid

levels. In addition, Asbury decided to start their own technical institute in
order to meet the demand in growth and train their own talent.
ATI is a 12-week course led by experienced service trainers. The classes
are designed to train on the fundamentals of the shop from engine
systems, transmissions, suspension and steering, brakes, electrical,
heating and air conditioning, as well as safety. The classes were designed
with manufacturers to make sure we are meeting the industry’s demand in
skill set.

• Technical aptitude

• Problem solving ability
• Previous course work in an automotive shop
This entry-level course provides automotive technicians with the
basic skill set to be able to safely perform common tasks relating
to a vehicle inspection and correction of identified issues.
