Basel Switzerland based pharma company). I successfully un-covered cash embezzlement by an employee at company’s
Karachi office branch. The total amount embezzled was recovered and the culprit was fired consequently. I was awarded
with 'Certificate of Excellence' recommended by ‘Head of Finance’ duly approved by GM / Country Manager. This also
rewarded me with Special Performance Bonus (only guy out of 15 headcounts in finance) as an acknowledgement of
extra-ordinary efforts. This also gave me an exposure to explore diversity of human psyche & act promptly to safeguard

Joined this newly established small but ambitious & aggressive approached security solutions provider firmin the
capacity of 'Manager Finance & Systems'.
Headed by young, talented & innovative guy bearing DNA of Sehgal business community, I had the opportunity
to learn how to play big with minimum equity. Its’ like rotating money yet safeguarding your interest.
I am mostly engaged with establishing systems, reporting channels, organizational structures, inventory control,
procurement system, issuance & movement, costing & invoicing etc.
MD has a vision to deliver on or before time quality service with excellent customer care. This has led this

Engaged with this project in the capacity of “Manager Revenue Operations & Clientage”.
A renowned Pakistan based software house aiming to globalize its clientage and to explore new markets.
One of the prime responsibilities under my jurisdictions was to evaluate the existing customers with their orders in
the pipeline and the adherence to the terms of the agreement with the company. Further, I was also engaged in a
variety of meetings both inter-departmental & with clients, too, so as to keenly monitor systemcompliance to the
core. This also encompassed me to deliver the funds projection, accordingly.
This enabled me to deal with a lot of client related situations to find common grounds to work with. Hence I
organized tailor-cut change management approach in consultation with seniors to extract best deal.
Supervising internal / external audits was smoothly conducted under management deadlines. EPFT (a statutory
staff benefit scheme with equal contribution) etc. in-line with company policy was an add to my port-folio. This
analytical diversity provided me a challenge to my skills as I had to work closely with the CEO and to directly
report, discuss issues and act swiftly but promptly.
In Sep-2013, the CEO asked me to look after the existing operations of Asia region as it was not delivering up to
projections & expectations. Since he had to spend most of his time at his London office, driving the newly
launched England branch, hence it was his trust vested on my capabilities. Interesting to mention here, that as the
part of my agreement, I was engaged in the phase of preparing my own substitute & delivered with proud.
K&N’s Foods (Pvt.) Limited (Corporate Office) (from May-2003 to Aug-2010)
Worked poultry based ‘Group of Companies’ for 7 ¼ years as “Sr. Finance Executive”.
Jurisdiction encompassed on funds movement, daily bank position and reconciliation. Responsible to monitor
financial markets regarding investment opportunities & financial analysis reports.
Supervising a team of 5 delivering the smooth functions of GL / AP / AR. contributing towards internal and
external audits with the required reports & voucher / evidence verifications.
3. Maintenance of ‘Employees Provident Fund Trust’ of more than 800 active members (from A-Z). To maintain
physical cash (PKR 200k) safe imprest meant for local purchases.
Other assignments stipulated from time to time remained a confidence building pillars in my career. Glad to
express that the managements’ trust, vested upon my abilities, was never jeopardized.
M. Artal Poultry International (Pvt.) Limited (From Nov-1998 to May-2000)
o Worked with this multinational Belgium / Netherland based group as “Sr. Finance Officer”.
o This was a group comprised of various world famous brands like KFC, Harry’s Bread, AVA Water, Broiler
Farms, Poultry Feed Mill, Poultry Processing Plant, poultry Products and own poultry shop country wide.
Unfortunately due to Govt. of Pakistan’s non-encouraging policies towards newly established frozen meat market,
this foreign investment was withdrawn and sold to local groups in pieces.
o I was allocated to look after the whole finance area of their Feed Mill unit. As such, I was directly involved in all
Accounts Receivable and Account Payable maters with debtors / creditors age analysis reports with duly follow-
ups for the outstanding exceeding credit limits.
o I had full hand on to establish systems,forms and procedures for the smooth functioning of this unit. All purchases
of raw materials (micro & macro ingredients) were routed through the systemwith a trouble shooting approach.
o Similarly all sales team were strictly advised not to violate sales format and adherence to the procedure. As the
representative and custodian of the financial procedure, I had to take necessary measures in case of non -
compliance by any staff member.
o Since, I was directly reporting to the Finance Director / CEO (Mr. John Hamilton), I brought many structural
changes / improvements, from time to time, with the approval / guidance of the management. Providing assistance
to the external auditors in course of external audit.
Boehringer Mannheim (Pakistan) Pvt. Limited (from Jan-1997 to Oct-1998)
Worked with this multinational pharmaceuticals & therapeutics Germany based company for about 2 years as
“Finance Officer”. Taken over by Roche Pharmaceuticals, Switzerland based company, globally worth around
US$ 11 Billion in late 1998. Acquisition completed in mid 1999 world-wide after approval from US FDA & EU
regulatory bodies.
Monitoring company’s Accounts Receivable, generating debtor’s list with credit ceiling and age analysis .
Bank reconciliation with close co-ordination with banks. Processing monthly staff payroll of more than 200
permanent and 60 contractual workers. Keeping a track of employees from hiring till full & final settlement.
Issuing staff annual tax certificates with tax liabilities for tax return purpose. Preparing for the external audit
pertaining to my area and replying to audit queries thereto.
Checking staff medical & imprest expenses claims in line with company policy and payment with the payroll.
Any special assignment stipulated from time to time by the senior management. Moving all records and
facilitating in the smooth transition of handing over / taking over by Roche people.
