2. Filming in the pet shop, we took it in turns to film different parts of the pet
shop for our cutaways getting as many shots as possible that will match the
interview that was set out. This was all hand held camera work and used a
variety of shots such as panning, zooming, tilts etc. What went well was that
the animals were very active and we were able to get exciting and entertaining
shots for example the parrot dancing. What didn’t go so well is that because it
was hand held some shots were shaky. During this we used the HD kit.
3. When filming Mr Warren with his love of chickens and other pets, these
pictures show us setting up making sure he is in the right place, we decided
it would look better if he held one of the chickens which we did during the
interview. We did a variety of shots such as a medium close up and a mid-
shot. What didn’t go so well is that he look towards the camera a few times
so will need a lot of cutaways. What went well is the mise-en-scene and the
camera shot. Melissa filmed the interview while Hannah was asking the
questions. During this we used the HD kit.
4. We all went to film the breeder, while Melissa and eve set up Hannah went
though the questions with him. We filmed him in his house in his own
living room were the dogs he breed were born. During this filming we
didn’t realise the sound wasn't working so we had to go back and do it
again, this time we checked twice to see if everything was working. We
used the HD kit. Unfortunately our pictures have been deleted so we are

5. When we went to film Ruth the vet, Melissa set up the camera and eve
went though the questions with the vet before starting the interview. The
only thing wrong with this was that the mise-en-scene wasn't very good as
it had nothing to do with a vets. During this we used the HD kit.

6. We filmed the opening titles at Melissa’s house. All three off us went here,
Hannah set up the camera, while Melissa and eve were telling the dogs what
to do. We used the HD kit and did it as hand held camera work.

7. When filming the vox pops, Melissa filmed while Eve asked the questions
and Hannah took pictures. We asked people around Liscard while they
were shopping, out of about 15 people we asked only 5 agreed to be
filmed. After the people agreed we asked if they would put the
microphone on so there was better sound quality. When doing this we
used the HD kit.
8. When filming Hannah Jones, we all went to her house and decided the
best place to film her was her bed room. We asked her questions about
disliking pets, Hannah asked the questions and filmed while Eve took
pictures and Melissa set up and ensured that the angle of the camera and
shot was perfect. We used the HD kit for this interview.
