Do you think school starting early is unacceptable? It is actually good and beneficial to your future. People think that schools starting early is bad but
they don't know that they are doing this for the best of themselves. School starting early is actually a good thing as school will probably ends in an
earlier time and there be more time for after school activities. Even though schools opening later is beneficial to some people, impacts like habits of
waking up late which might affect a student's future. First of all, if school starts early, the school will probably end at an earlier time. As school ends
earlier, it provides more time for after school activities. Other than that, the U.S News and world report that 3 public schools in Maryland ... Show more

People who wake up early will have more productivity. This is a very good habit to have as if you have a job in the future, you would have to
wake up early. If you wake up early, you would be less stress and if you wake up late , you would need to rush and have stress. If you have a job
and you wake up early you won't risk having to rush to work. Successful people wakes up early and one example is Ben Franklin who said, "Early
to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise." So if people wants to be successful like Ben Franklin, they would have to
develop a habit of waking up early and schools will help with that. Waking up early is a good habit a student should learn as it can lead them to a
better future. Even if school starting late is good to students and they desire it , there are more negatives than positives and one small thing can affect
a lot. Schools should start early as it would probably ends early too and the time for after school activities can benefit everyone. It can also help a
student in the future in their jobs . Students should develop their waking up early habits when young and they won't suffer that much in the future.
Schools starts early is beneficial to everyone and people should stop complaining and look in the long term effects of school starting

Babez Wake Up In Haverrill-Personal Narrative
On Monday October 29,2017 I woke up in Haverhill, Massachusetts at 7 in the morning, but that morning didn't feel like I was in Haverhill. I woke
up in a daze,my mother on the other side of the door, " Babez wake up it's 7 now". The daze could have been from the fact that I got an extra hour
of sleep and I was too comfortable to get up, however it wasn't the first time I had slept in. While getting ready time seemed to be standing still,
Completing my hair and makeup perfectly(...well to me) in under twenty minutes and I looked presentable, but I wasn't mentally there. Something was

Trash cans were blown across the streets recklessly, branches were on the floor blocking almost every driveway and the leaves were piled on the

she was up all night because of it she assumed I slept in and was up all night too, I told her no. In the car my mom and I were talking about all of
the bizarre traffic that was going on in Downtown Haverhill, of course we had no clue and it wasn't any of our business so the conversation just
vanished. I went on my cell phone for the first time that day just to preoccupy myself I clicked Instagram. Nothing special happened although

Personal Narrative: Wake Up
Sorry, I know you're asleep and I continuously keep texting you but I'd rather tell you everything now so you won't feel worried when you wake
up when I will still feel asleep. What I wanted to tell you was that I just haven't been happy lately. Maybe it's because I miss you; because of all the
shitty things that has been happening to me. I haven't been happy for over a week. But between us, all we do is argue and I'm so tired, Ciro.
Sometimes I lay in bed and just grab my head because of how exhausted I am with the constant fightings. I have so many problems in my life and I
have to go on and tell you everything that's happening when I shouldn't. It honestly makes things worse. I even cry because I can't take my life

talked to my mom and told her how much I can't stand my dad. How many problems he has been causing me. I'm so damaged mentally and
emotionally. You can't be with someone who is so broken and doesn't know what to do with herself anymore. What I am trying to say is that you
have the chance, Ciro to be free. Not feel as if you have to be with me because of how emotionally unstable I am. I want YOU to be happy. Without
me Ciro, I truly believe you'll be happier. You won't have to deal with someone who drowns in sadness; you won't have to be with someone who
constantly fights for no reason; you won't feel scared; you won't fee miserable, you'll feel happy. I promise you, Ciro. I know I will eventually be
okay. Just not now. Not what God wants for me. I love you, Ciro. I love you so much. Think about it, okay? It's fine if you want to leave me. I

Wake Up Target Audience
"Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative efforts." said Franklin D. Roosevelt. This is the attitude any successful restaurant
owner must keep in mind throughout the process which, is the foundation on which Wake Up was created. Being aware of the target audience, the
market, and the overall theme are important things that were all considered carefully throughout the process of design. Every successful business is
able to target the main audience they would like to attract to their business. This is important step when creating anything because every type of
audience expects and appreciates different aspects when supporting a company. Wake Up decided to focus its audience towards two specific
generations, the Millennial and Baby boomers. Deciding upon these generations was fairly easy once you become aware of the amount of... Show more

which is about 25–30 minutes from the location we are looking at our downtown which is about 25–30 minutes as well in the opposite direction.
Making this the prime location for a nice breakfast place to be, especially when there are not really any other sit down breakfast restaurants in the area.

Creative Writing: Downtown
*To fully understand the story I'm trying to tell you, the story about me, I must start from the events of the past; things that happened long before you
and I were even born. Or not? It's hard to say. & short pause& I must warn you too. The things you hear might sound unbelievable, impossible even. I
can prove some of them. Some I can't. I need you to trust me.*
Darkness was falling over Zootopia; over curved sky–paths, venturous buildings and their sharp constructions, and heads of the mammals living there.
Or, that's how it looked in Downtown, after all. Other areas with their diverse flora didn't look as lively as the Downtown district in these late
afternoon hours. Nor did any district seem so uniform with such a variety of grey shades, dominant over all other colors. Animals prepared for the
nightlife, faired the best in all of the city.** ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Now. Separate it. Separate it on as many parts and as many mammal species as you can count. Distribute districts for each of those species and leave
Downtown to be the heart of the city and the only place one can find each of them. Put hate among animals. Put as much of it as you can imagine. But
make it normal, something they wake up with in the morning and go to sleep with in the evening. Make them enjoy it. Make them think it is pure love
for their kind. Make them blind. Well, that's how Zootopia looked in 2059. Once.*
Away from business suits, from expensive perfumes and greedy looks ofthe animals, in the quieter and more peaceful parts near outskirts of
Downtown, two new shadows showed up. The kind that always appears in times like these, when night meets the day. Fast and fickle, they'd fall on the
walls. Somewhat darker than others, they'd blend with others and appear in a completely different place. Reflections of two middle–sized animals that

Rhetorical Analysis: A Wake Up Call America Needed '
U.S Needs A Wake Up:Racism In 2017 during Trump's first few months as president; there was a KKK/White Supremacy rally in Charlottesville. In
the rally the Grand Dragon David Duke made an appearance along with other men; talking about "Taking their country back.". Not only that but there
are gender racisms among the U.S as well and no one is doing anything about it. This is a brief summary of Sophia A. Nelson's article:"Charlottesville
Is the Ugly Wake–UP Call America Needed". As she referred to everyone ignoring the problems that are going on, and the people that are that just
allowing it. Sophia took an angry/disappointed tone in her speech; a possible bias influencing this would be that she is also African American. Sophia

bad thing, and it's not right. Later on in her article she says "It's time to do our work. It starts just like an AA program: The first step is admitting we

The Abolition of Man as Wake Up Call Essay
The Abolition of Man as Wake Up Call
There are three very important ideas that C. S. Lewis explicates in his book, The Abolition of Man. The first essay focuses on moral subjectivism, the
second on the Tao, and the third on the consequences of living in a morally relativist society. As a dramatic conclusion to these essays, Lewis asserts
that if we do not carefully educate ourselves and accept the authority of the Tao we may become heartless men and women, incapable of governing a
society of justice and values.
In the first essay, Lewis communicates his philosophy that education plays an important part in the development of ethical values. In addition to this
statement, Lewis asserts that children's readers, guised as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, a generation educated by "The Green Book" would know only the dangerous freedom of subjectivism. Without the necessary education to
develop the heart of man and left with no form of resistance, they would find their instincts controlling their behavior. Lewis summed up this argument
by saying "the practical result of education in the spirit of The Green Book must be the destruction of the society which accepts it." Lewis ascertained
that educating men this way and expecting virtue was like castrating horses and expecting offspring.
In the second essay of Abolition of Man, entitled "The Way," Lewis expounds upon the system of Tao he introduced in the first chapter. This essay
sets out to prove that there is such a thing as objective moral law; he refers to this moral law as the Tao. Lewis defines the Tao as the underlying basic
reality in the world, which no amount of denial can make disappear. In the second essay, Lewis points out that those who believe there can be no basic
moral judgments about anything contradict themselves because they cannot escape making moral judgments themselves. The only way for
subjectivists to escape this cycle of self–contradiction is to claim that there is a moral standard somewhere in nature. As is obvious to most readers,
this futility is the consequence Lewis writes that we are bound towards in the first essay, and will explain further in the third and last essay. Lewis
points out that

Analysis Of Northrop Frye's 'Wake Me Up When September Ends'
Most people in the time of misery turn to depression and sadness, while few artistic minds can take those difficult feelings and turn them into a
moving piece of art. This is what Billie Joe Armstrong did for one of their most remembered songs Wake Me Up When September Ends. Northrop
Frye's thoughts in his writing The Archetypes of literature can be related to this song as well. Such ideas include how different seasons can portray
contrasting meanings, and how symbolic references are used throughout the passage to tell a story. All these ideas are supported in the song thatBillie
Joe Armstrong wrote.
For starters, the background of the song is important to understand where the Green Day singer, Billie Joe Armstrong, is coming from. When he was
10 years of age, his father died in 1982 during the month of September due to cancer. The day of the funeral, Armstrong couldn't stand the pain that
he was experiencing and locked himself in his room. After his mother ran after him in hopes to comfort his misery, he simply told her to wake him up
when September ends. This song regarding his father's death came out 20 years after the incident. It clearly states this in the song "Like my father's
come to pass Twenty years has gone so fast." This song was written to describe his experience through this disturbing time in his life.
In the very first few lines to the lyrics of Wake Me Up When September Ends, it states "Summer has come and passed, The innocent can never last."
This relates

Should School Start Later Persuasive Essay
What time do you get up to get ready for school? Do you wake up at the last minute and have to rush? Some people may say that school starts too
early, and in all reality it does. Students minds are never fully awake at eight a.m.. They may not give themselves enough time to eat breakfast. May
not be getting enough sleep. Maybe they don't have a ride. Are the teachers even ready? If school started an hour later would there be as many tardies?
Pushing the start time back an hour may be beneficial for students and teachers. Some kids are not able to drive themselves to school. Whether it
be they are out of gas, no car, or not even eligible to drive. If they were to wake up late, and miss the bus, or other transportation, it may take them a
while to get to school. Whether they have to walk or whether they have to find someone else to take them. Either way they will most likely be late,
and miss class time. If school were pushed back an hour it would give them enough time to make it to class on time. No excuses. You may think
that if they do it with this time, that they will do it if changed too. In all reality they can wake up at the same time and not be rushed to get to school.
Also have time to eat breakfast, and maybe find another ride. Say that they were to wake up at seven fifty. That would give them enough time to
shower if needed, eat, play on their phone, and get to school. Allowing them to be on time to their first hour class, and be able to chat with friends before

Church To Wake Up: Chapter Analysis

and personal experience (p. 221). The church is dying from the inside but a change is about to take place. In the beginning, the church was full of
excitement, as with any new local body of believers. A building was built, a pastor was called, and attendance grew steadily. The church became a
"rock" in the community offering many different programs. "As time went on, the church begin to lose its flavor. What started out with the freshness of
new beginnings begin to fade, and the church began to decline in membership." (p. 223) A number of the congregation became sick with many

to reach and soften the heart in this area. If the church decides to organize a healing ministry then training will be involved. Those who are mature in
handling the Word of God with skill and understanding will lead this training.

Skeletons Alternate Ending

Wake Up Your Creative Idea Summary
Book Review: Wake Up Your Creative Idea Wake Up Your Creative Idea by Kurt Hanks and Jay Perry is a book about using concepts, principles, and
technique to create ideas. It tells you step–by–step on how to make your American Dream come true. I thought the book, Wake up Your Creative Idea,
was informational and educational, but it was hard for me to pay attention because it was like I was reading a textbook. In a way this book was
similar to How to Get an Idea because some of the techniques were a repeat of Jack Foster's methods. For example, in Fosters and Hanks' book, they
both talk about thinking and acting like a child because they are so carefree and asks a lot of questions. Another method mentioned both in this book
and Foster's book... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There were also concepts in this book that I hadn't thought about such as "the conscious mind erects against symbols and metaphors." The
subconscious is "more comfortable to metaphors." In relation to this topic, the book talks about analyzing one object and then connect it to another
object. Another concept that I liked and agree is "It takes creative effort to produce creative results." Hanks points out that. The concept of need is
one key to getting good ideas was interesting. I never thought how our needs can motivate us to create but now that I thought about it, it makes
sense. Without need, we would not be as motivate to create. The necessity gives us a purpose to create. In the book, the authors did point out that we
shouldn't be narrowed to one idea and getting close to our ideas. I also learned that in order to avoid having your idea stolen, it's best to not tell
anyone your idea unless it is someone who you know you can trust. I learned that there are three ways to protect my ideas which are patents,
copyrights, and trademarks. I never knew how much process there is to protecting your

Let's Talk About Me Research Paper
Let's Talk About Me People face obstacles in life which influences their characteristics and how they behave daily. Even through the negativity
there's is always a positive result that comes from a situation. Failure was a challenge I had to face since I was in grade school. No one was there to
tell me that the lack of success could change you and affect you in the future. I never knew a hardship such as failure could wake me up from my
fantasy and bring the light of reality to me. Unfulfillment can be your wake up call to reality and it can impact you later on in life. Every morning my
mother would come into my room around 6am and project her voice " yall get up it's 6 o'clock, get up and get ready for school." I was always the
first one to get up out the bed, and I was never the last to be ready for school. I didn't care for school, I was a third grader who just wanted to stay
home, and watch cartoons all day. I walk with my sister and my nephew to school every morning. We all had on our ugly burgundy uniform that I
hated, but my mother made sure that were in our uniform every single day. I walked my nephew and sister to their class, they were in the kiddy

Wake Up America Research Paper
Wake Up America: An Education Crisis For many years, children from all walks of life have dreamed of going to good schools and making
something of themselves by gaining a good education. This is where vouchers come in, but what use are they if private schools do not lead to a better
education? Vouchers have been used in schools since the 1950's so families can send their children to private schools. Voucher systems in the United
States of America have been limited to Indiana and Louisiana, Milwaukee and Cleveland because of all the controversy surrounding private school
vouchers. Since the 1980's, people have argued whether or not vouchers are beneficial or detrimental. Democrats say that voucher systems will not
solve all problems in the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Will school vouchers ever be a solution to better the educational system in the United States? No, they will not. Five percent of Americans think
that private schools are worse in academic qualities (Kahlenberg). It is said that "whatever the solution is, it is not using vouchers" (Duncan). A
solution is to improve the public school system so that children will not need a voucher. A voucher is not needed if the public schools learn how to
teach children that need vouchers. Instead of school choice for private schools only, it should be for public schools because at the end of the day it is
about the education of the children. 70 percent in a USA Today survey says that parents should be allowed to send their children to whatever public
school they want them to attend. Another solution is to learn how to educate low income students so that they will have the same opportunities as a
middle or upper class student does. Just because they are lower class does not mean they have less of a chance than students of other social classes.
Vouchers should not be about the money; they should be about the student's education and the future they will have because of it. Yes, the public is not
happy with the current educational system but with hard work and dedication it will get better for everyone everywhere in the United States. But if

I-Diots And Wake Up Talk Analysis
Compare and contrast (Formative)
I–Diots and Wake–up Call both exaggerated to communicate their message and to try to influence. For example, in the Wake–up Call's video, I
understood that the author was trying to persuade us that we change our phones, that is still usable, way too quickly. How I understood that? Simply
because the video was exaggerated. In the video, we could see that a human was constantly buying new phones because new ones were created and
throwing the "old" ones. We even saw an Y–Phone 800 in this video. And in I–Diots, the author exaggerated the fact that we are, the humans, a bunch
of idiot. He replaced us by robots and showed that we had childish behaviour sometimes. It showed us that when our phone is breaking, we just go buy
a new ones from the same company without asking ourselves why it actually broke, which is actually true. In fact, in I–Diots, only our behaviour was
exaggerated, contrarily to Wake–up ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One made a video of childish stupid robots buying new phones without thinking and the other made a more realistic video with more exaggerations
about a guy that was buying new phones every minute because new ones were created. In my opinion, it is actually a good way of communicating a
message because the images can have stronger effects than a bunch of sentences. As we know, a picture is worth a thousand words. Also, it is
important to notice that in both video, there is no human voice. There is only noise, which make us focus on the images. And finally, the length of
these videos is pretty much the same. They are just longer enough to be able to clearly communicate their message and shorter enough to not loose our
attention. In other words, I would say that making a video to communicate and influence people is really effective as long as it's nor too short, nor too

that term "growing up" was funny, because through everything I certainly never have. I smiled down at him and answered "Yes, Matthew, I love it
very much." "Can I interview you about it please, it's part of the assignment?" he replied. I nod and make my way over to the matching desk chair

The Similarities Of Films ' Who Does Not Love A Great...
Cody Gilroy
Intro to Cinema
Professor Lee
December 6, 2016
The Similarities of Films Who does not love a great comedy film. I know that comedy is my favorite genre. When thinking about comedies or
comedians one person comes to mind, Will Ferrell. In some people's opinion he is the best comedian actor. Will Ferrell just so happen to be in a comedy
partnership with director Adam McKay. McKay is responsible for over 20 films. There are three films that I am particularly fond of The Other Guys,
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, and Step Brothers.
ДЂAdam McKay does not single handedly write his movies. Like I said, he and Ferrell are in a partnership and co–write movies together. Adams
movies tend to be a "mean" or not appropriate for children. When did comedies start saying four letter words every other sentence. The times have
changed that is for sure. I would be lying if I said I was shocked. I would also be lying if I said I had no taste, or judgment of comic strategy.
Because, like I said I am very fond of these movies. Adam's films have a lot in common including his own partner. Will Ferrell plays the main
character in most of McKay's films. In fact, he is the main character in all three of the films that I have chosen. So it may that I just like movies with
Will Ferrell. Adam McKay has a tendency to starting off his movies with a quote, and of course he works with Will.
In the movie Stepbrothers, an American buddy slapstick comedy which stars Will Ferrell and

Analysis Of The Poem ' Hey ' Wake Up '
"Hey, wake up." A voice was calling for him. The voice seemed strangely comforting to the boy, but he was unable to tell who it was. The boy tried
opening his eyes to see the face of the individual that was calling for him. All he was able to see were strands of black hair before the exhaustion
plaguing the boy 's body absorbed all the energy that was needed to keep his eyes open and he plunge into a deep slumber. *** "Sweetie, can you
wake our little boy up?" A feminine, yet nostalgic voice called. "Give me a minute, honey." A masculine, but also nostalgic voice replied. Where
have I heard these voices before? They sound so familiar, yet distant. It was something that had been fresh in the boy 's memory, but had been
forgotten. Wait, where am I? I can 't seem to remember anything. It feels like I 'm asleep, but at the same time I 'm not. I 'm laying on something
hard and it seems to soothe my body. Just where am I? Creak. Another creak. Footsteps. Someone was coming, and was coming towards him. He
was beginning to become of afraid of the person coming towards him as he did not know who it is nor did he know if that person has any ill intentions.
"KK, wake up." The man 's voice called. No, it can 't be... The only people that called him KK were his parents. The man placed his hands onto the boy
's shoulder giving him a squeeze, "Rise and shine!" "Father!" The boy blinked open his eyes and threw what seemed like a blanket over. A look of
disbelief spread over

Analysis of WalMart's Approach To Employee Management...
In the past it was noted by Snell, Youngy and Wright (1996:62) that organisations would purposely 'take human resource out of the strategic equation'.
Today it is widely accepted that linking HR to strategy because of a shift in ideas concerning competition and firm advantage (Snell, Shauder and
Wright (2001:3)). This shift was identified by Quin (1992:241) "with rare exceptions, the economic and producing power of the firm lies more in its
intellectual and service capabilities than in its hard assets"
Wal–Mart are aware of this and so by examining Wal–Marts practices using the 'best fit' perceptive will give a better understanding as to why they
have adopted their various practices by linking them to their key organisational strategy and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They also ensure employees only work enough hours to count as 'part–time' employees so Wal–Mart does not have to contribute towards health care
costs.
Wal–Mart's stance on not allowing unions can also be accredited to their cost leadership approach. When I outline Wal–Mart's business policy at the
start of this essay, I suggest that they were a central–control based organisation that tried to ensure it controlled all aspects of the firm. This is linked to
cost leadership, by having tight control they know exactly where money is going and where it is coming from which allows for better development of
efficiency.
This notion of control is especially noticeable on their management of employees, for example through such action as cutting hours, understaffing,
minimum wage levels and stopping overtime. If they were to allow a Union to be formed then employees would be able to group together to try and
abolishes they tools. For example workers in Unions at other supermarkets earn approxiamtly 30% more then non–union workers as Wal–Mart,(Bureau
of labour Statistics (2004) and 72% of union workers have guaranteed pension schemes whereas only 15% of non–union employees (such as those at
Wal–Mart) have the same sort of deal. Wal–Mart can use these tools to control their staff because of the poor labour laws in America (Miller (2004)).
This 'external fit' notion has been criticised because

Argument Essay: Do Kids Have To Wake Up?
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! You're familiar with that sound, it's the sound of you're alarm clock. It's really hard for kids to wake
up to the sound isn't it? It's not even good for them either! Yet, kids, whose appetites for sleep are the biggest, have to wake up as early as 6:00
a.m.! It's crazy how they, the school boards, set the system up. And bus drivers, who also have to wake up quite early, might be having problems
waking up. Even if they don't, someone behind them might be and that puts the whole bus at risk! Anyways, the point is that the decision made for
the school arrival time was wrong and it needs to be changed on a large scale. This means in EVERY high school. Starting school too early is not only

The time they use up is sleep time! This leads to sleep deprivation and causes the above stated affects that were stated by the chief of medicine in
Chicago. Another factor in this whole mess is a sleep inducing chemical called melatonin. This chemical is what tells your brain that its time to
take a rest so it doesn't go into over drive. More specifically, this chemical starts to go to work at around 10 P.M., and wears off at around 8 A.M.
This means that there are still significant amounts of this chemical in a teens mind at 7 or even 6 o'clock in the morning. His, or her, whole morning
is then reduced to a blur of events and their is no point in teaching them anything that early because many times they don't even remembers it!
Eventually, when they reach adulthood, this changes and it starts to merge into their evolved circadian clock, the internal sleeping mechanism that
dictates sleeping patterns. Simply, it means they will be able to wake up earlier, and have to sleep less. The most important reason that teens need
more sleep is sleep deprivation, again, but this time it's with driving. Yes, you may or may not well be familiar with this horrid combination, but it's
like drinking and driving! If you don't approve that then you definitely won't support this. Did you know that being awake for a full 24 hours, which
many teens might do, is like have a BAC level of .07. Of course, this might

A Short Story : A Story?
"Yes?" the girl asked, allowing the boy to speak. "What happens if we break the rules?" the boy questioned. "Death. You will be killed, but only if
you don't follow the rules. Everything will be fine as long as you play along," the girl replied, nonchalantly. Every conversation cut off. The children all
became mute, stunned at the term the girl had used so loosely. Death. They hadn't heard it much, but they understood that it was a topic that should not
often be discussed. Not one child dare to make a noise. It was as if they were all holding their breaths. Many children waited for the girl to speak again
and say it was only a joke. However, it never happened, so the children remained speechless.
Abruptly, a boy shot up from the ground and shrieked, "I don't want to play! It sounds stupid!" The girl's smile wavered.
"Well, that's too bad," the girl responded. She snapped her fingers and the boy fell limp to the ground. A nearby girl rushed to his side. She began to

"Get up Johnny! Please get up! This isn't funny!" the girl bawled. "What's wrong with you?" she cried.
"Don't worry. He's dead. There's nothing you can do," the girl answered coolly. The girl next to the dead boy, began to sob. Everyone around soon

Analysis Of Hamlet Wakes Up Late
In the Cornell Schwartz Center for Performing Arts production of Hamlet Wakes Up Late, Director Rebekah Maggor made various innovations in the
stage design, music, costume, and the actors' lines and motions to make the play more effective and more understandable to a Cornell audience.
Hamlet Wakes Up Late included Elizabethan, Arabic, and modern music in one play. As mentioned by Professor Maggor, the production featured
original music composed by a Syrian–American composer, and played by a violinist, a violist, and a guitarist. Prior to the performance, the trio played
the music from the inset Shahryar directed by Hamlet in full–length, which was a blend of Arabic and modern music. The stylistic features in this piece
gave the audience who were unfamiliar with the play an impression of the setting. Later, I was surprised that these three musicians directly participated
in the performance. In the play, they were also the musicians hired by Hamlet. During the rehearsal of Shahryar, Hamlet invited them to the forestage to
help with the practice. The frequent pauses of the music as Hamlet and his friends were constantly giving commands created a humorous effect. After
the intermission, King Claudius celebrated his marriage with Gertrude with a prom. The characters danced to music that shifted between Elizabethan
court music and Despacito, the most popular song on Youtube. The actors also shifted between Baroque and street dance according to the music. Such

  • 2. Babez Wake Up In Haverrill-Personal Narrative On Monday October 29,2017 I woke up in Haverhill, Massachusetts at 7 in the morning, but that morning didn't feel like I was in Haverhill. I woke up in a daze,my mother on the other side of the door, " Babez wake up it's 7 now". The daze could have been from the fact that I got an extra hour of sleep and I was too comfortable to get up, however it wasn't the first time I had slept in. While getting ready time seemed to be standing still, Completing my hair and makeup perfectly(...well to me) in under twenty minutes and I looked presentable, but I wasn't mentally there. Something was still off and I couldn't figure it out. Dismissing it I go downstairs to wait for my mom, we all know twenty minutes isn't enough for the majesty herself. Trash cans were blown across the streets recklessly, branches were on the floor blocking almost every driveway and the leaves were piled on the cement as if it rained leaves instead of water. Was Haverhill okay? I asked my mom if she knew there was a storm last night she told me yes and, she was up all night because of it she assumed I slept in and was up all night too, I told her no. In the car my mom and I were talking about all of the bizarre traffic that was going on in Downtown Haverhill, of course we had no clue and it wasn't any of our business so the conversation just vanished. I went on my cell phone for the first time that day just to preoccupy myself I clicked Instagram. Nothing special happened although someone did post about how a powerline fell on top of their car, yikes. Continuing to scroll eventually I noticed we had no school.Feeling birdbrained my mom offers to buy me some breakfast from the Wicked Big Cafe, the all time best cafe in the city of Haverhill(...well to me). • 4. Personal Narrative: Wake Up Sorry, I know you're asleep and I continuously keep texting you but I'd rather tell you everything now so you won't feel worried when you wake up when I will still feel asleep. What I wanted to tell you was that I just haven't been happy lately. Maybe it's because I miss you; because of all the shitty things that has been happening to me. I haven't been happy for over a week. But between us, all we do is argue and I'm so tired, Ciro. Sometimes I lay in bed and just grab my head because of how exhausted I am with the constant fightings. I have so many problems in my life and I have to go on and tell you everything that's happening when I shouldn't. It honestly makes things worse. I even cry because I can't take my life anymore. I wake up so late now because I just want to keep sleeping. I don't want to wake up knowing that we're fighting, knowing that when I wake up I'll hear my dad screaming at me for no reason. I talked to my mom and told her how much I can't stand my dad. How many problems he has been causing me. I'm so damaged mentally and emotionally. You can't be with someone who is so broken and doesn't know what to do with herself anymore. What I am trying to say is that you have the chance, Ciro to be free. Not feel as if you have to be with me because of how emotionally unstable I am. I want YOU to be happy. Without me Ciro, I truly believe you'll be happier. You won't have to deal with someone who drowns in sadness; you won't have to be with someone who constantly fights for no reason; you won't feel scared; you won't fee miserable, you'll feel happy. I promise you, Ciro. I know I will eventually be okay. Just not now. Not what God wants for me. I love you, Ciro. I love you so much. Think about it, okay? It's fine if you want to leave me. • 5. Wake Up Target Audience "Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative efforts." said Franklin D. Roosevelt. This is the attitude any successful restaurant owner must keep in mind throughout the process which, is the foundation on which Wake Up was created. Being aware of the target audience, the market, and the overall theme are important things that were all considered carefully throughout the process of design. Every successful business is able to target the main audience they would like to attract to their business. This is important step when creating anything because every type of audience expects and appreciates different aspects when supporting a company. Creative Writing: Downtown *To fully understand the story I'm trying to tell you, the story about me, I must start from the events of the past; things that happened long before you and I were even born. Or not? It's hard to say. & short pause& I must warn you too. The things you hear might sound unbelievable, impossible even. I can prove some of them. Some I can't. I need you to trust me.* Darkness was falling over Zootopia; over curved sky–paths, venturous buildings and their sharp constructions, and heads of the mammals living there. Or, that's how it looked in Downtown, after all. Other areas with their diverse flora didn't look as lively as the Downtown district in these late afternoon hours. Nor did any district seem so uniform with such a variety of grey shades, dominant over all other colors. Animals prepared for the nightlife, faired the best in all of the city.** ... Put as much of it as you can imagine. But make it normal, something they wake up with in the morning and go to sleep with in the evening. Make them enjoy it. Make them think it is pure love for their kind. Make them blind. Well, that's how Zootopia looked in 2059. Once.* Away from business suits, from expensive perfumes and greedy looks ofthe animals, in the quieter and more peaceful parts near outskirts of Downtown, two new shadows showed up. The kind that always appears in times like these, when night meets the day. Fast and fickle, they'd fall on the walls. In the rally the Grand Dragon David Duke made an appearance along with other men; talking about "Taking their country back.". Not only that but there are gender racisms among the U.S as well and no one is doing anything about it. This is a brief summary of Sophia A. Nelson's article:"Charlottesville Is the Ugly Wake–UP Call America Needed". As she referred to everyone ignoring the problems that are going on, and the people that are that just allowing it. • 8. The Abolition of Man as Wake Up Call Essay The Abolition of Man as Wake Up Call There are three very important ideas that C. S. Lewis explicates in his book, The Abolition of Man. The first essay focuses on moral subjectivism, the second on the Tao, and the third on the consequences of living in a morally relativist society. As a dramatic conclusion to these essays, Lewis asserts that if we do not carefully educate ourselves and accept the authority of the Tao we may become heartless men and women, incapable of governing a society of justice and values. In the first essay, Lewis communicates his philosophy that education plays an important part in the development of ethical values. In addition to this statement, Lewis asserts that children's readers, guised as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... However, a generation educated by "The Green Book" would know only the dangerous freedom of subjectivism. Without the necessary education to develop the heart of man and left with no form of resistance, they would find their instincts controlling their behavior. Lewis summed up this argument by saying "the practical result of education in the spirit of The Green Book must be the destruction of the society which accepts it." Lewis ascertained that educating men this way and expecting virtue was like castrating horses and expecting offspring. In the second essay of Abolition of Man, entitled "The Way," Lewis expounds upon the system of Tao he introduced in the first chapter. This essay sets out to prove that there is such a thing as objective moral law; he refers to this moral law as the Tao. Lewis defines the Tao as the underlying basic reality in the world, which no amount of denial can make disappear. In the second essay, Lewis points out that those who believe there can be no basic moral judgments about anything contradict themselves because they cannot escape making moral judgments themselves. The only way for subjectivists to escape this cycle of self–contradiction is to claim that there is a moral standard somewhere in nature. As is obvious to most readers, this futility is the consequence Lewis writes that we are bound towards in the first essay, and will explain further in the third and last essay. • 9. Analysis Of Northrop Frye's 'Wake Me Up When September Ends' Most people in the time of misery turn to depression and sadness, while few artistic minds can take those difficult feelings and turn them into a moving piece of art. This is what Billie Joe Armstrong did for one of their most remembered songs Wake Me Up When September Ends. Northrop Frye's thoughts in his writing The Archetypes of literature can be related to this song as well. Such ideas include how different seasons can portray contrasting meanings, and how symbolic references are used throughout the passage to tell a story. All these ideas are supported in the song thatBillie Joe Armstrong wrote. For starters, the background of the song is important to understand where the Green Day singer, Billie Joe Armstrong, is coming from. When he was 10 years of age, his father died in 1982 during the month of September due to cancer. The day of the funeral, Armstrong couldn't stand the pain that he was experiencing and locked himself in his room. After his mother ran after him in hopes to comfort his misery, he simply told her to wake him up when September ends. This song regarding his father's death came out 20 years after the incident. It clearly states this in the song "Like my father's come to pass Twenty years has gone so fast." This song was written to describe his experience through this disturbing time in his life. In the very first few lines to the lyrics of Wake Me Up When September Ends, it states "Summer has come and passed, The innocent can never last." This relates ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 12. Should School Start Later Persuasive Essay What time do you get up to get ready for school? Do you wake up at the last minute and have to rush? Some people may say that school starts too early, and in all reality it does. Students minds are never fully awake at eight a.m.. They may not give themselves enough time to eat breakfast. May not be getting enough sleep. Maybe they don't have a ride. Are the teachers even ready? If school started an hour later would there be as many tardies? Pushing the start time back an hour may be beneficial for students and teachers. Some kids are not able to drive themselves to school. Whether it be they are out of gas, no car, or not even eligible to drive. If they were to wake up late, and miss the bus, or other transportation, it may take them a while to get to school. Whether they have to walk or whether they have to find someone else to take them. Either way they will most likely be late, and miss class time. If school were pushed back an hour it would give them enough time to make it to class on time. No excuses. You may think that if they do it with this time, that they will do it if changed too. In all reality they can wake up at the same time and not be rushed to get to school. Also have time to eat breakfast, and maybe find another ride. Say that they were to wake up at seven fifty. That would give them enough time to shower if needed, eat, play on their phone, and get to school. Allowing them to be on time to their first hour class, and be able to chat with friends before ... He uses an organization of a factitious church complied by his many years of observation and personal experience (p. 221). The church is dying from the inside but a change is about to take place. In the beginning, the church was full of excitement, as with any new local body of believers. A building was built, a pastor was called, and attendance grew steadily. The church became a "rock" in the community offering many different programs. "As time went on, the church begin to lose its flavor. I thought the book, Wake up Your Creative Idea, was informational and educational, but it was hard for me to pay attention because it was like I was reading a textbook. Five percent of Americans think that private schools are worse in academic qualities (Kahlenberg). It is said that "whatever the solution is, it is not using vouchers" (Duncan). A solution is to improve the public school system so that children will not need a voucher. A voucher is not needed if the public schools learn how to teach children that need vouchers. Instead of school choice for private schools only, it should be for public schools because at the end of the day it is about the education of the children. 70 percent in a USA Today survey says that parents should be allowed to send their children to whatever public school they want them to attend. Another solution is to learn how to educate low income students so that they will have the same opportunities as a middle or upper class student does. Just because they are lower class does not mean they have less of a chance than students of other social classes. For example, in the Wake–up Call's video, I understood that the author was trying to persuade us that we change our phones, that is still usable, way too quickly. How I understood that? Simply because the video was exaggerated. In the video, we could see that a human was constantly buying new phones because new ones were created and throwing the "old" ones. We even saw an Y–Phone 800 in this video. And in I–Diots, the author exaggerated the fact that we are, the humans, a bunch of idiot. He replaced us by robots and showed that we had childish behaviour sometimes. It showed us that when our phone is breaking, we just go buy a new ones from the same company without asking ourselves why it actually broke, which is actually true. Also, it is important to notice that in both video, there is no human voice. There is only noise, which make us focus on the images. And finally, the length of these videos is pretty much the same. I know that comedy is my favorite genre. When thinking about comedies or comedians one person comes to mind, Will Ferrell. In some people's opinion he is the best comedian actor. Will Ferrell just so happen to be in a comedy partnership with director Adam McKay. McKay is responsible for over 20 films. There are three films that I am particularly fond of The Other Guys, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, and Step Brothers. ДЂAdam McKay does not single handedly write his movies. Like I said, he and Ferrell are in a partnership and co–write movies together. Adams movies tend to be a "mean" or not appropriate for children. When did comedies start saying four letter words every other sentence. The times have changed that is for sure. I would be lying if I said I was shocked. I would also be lying if I said I had no taste, or judgment of comic strategy. Because, like I said I am very fond of these movies. Adam's films have a lot in common including his own partner. Will Ferrell plays the main character in most of McKay's films. In fact, he is the main character in all three of the films that I have chosen. So it may that I just like movies with Will Ferrell. Adam McKay has a tendency to starting off his movies with a quote, and of course he works with Will. In the movie Stepbrothers, an American buddy slapstick comedy which stars Will Ferrell and ... • 31. Analysis of WalMart's Approach To Employee Management... In the past it was noted by Snell, Youngy and Wright (1996:62) that organisations would purposely 'take human resource out of the strategic equation'. Today it is widely accepted that linking HR to strategy because of a shift in ideas concerning competition and firm advantage (Snell, Shauder and Wright (2001:3)). This shift was identified by Quin (1992:241) "with rare exceptions, the economic and producing power of the firm lies more in its intellectual and service capabilities than in its hard assets" Wal–Mart are aware of this and so by examining Wal–Marts practices using the 'best fit' perceptive will give a better understanding as to why they have adopted their various practices by linking them to their key organisational strategy and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They also ensure employees only work enough hours to count as 'part–time' employees so Wal–Mart does not have to contribute towards health care costs. Wal–Mart's stance on not allowing unions can also be accredited to their cost leadership approach. When I outline Wal–Mart's business policy at the start of this essay, I suggest that they were a central–control based organisation that tried to ensure it controlled all aspects of the firm. This is linked to cost leadership, by having tight control they know exactly where money is going and where it is coming from which allows for better development of efficiency. This notion of control is especially noticeable on their management of employees, for example through such action as cutting hours, understaffing, minimum wage levels and stopping overtime. If they were to allow a Union to be formed then employees would be able to group together to try and abolishes they tools. For example workers in Unions at other supermarkets earn approxiamtly 30% more then non–union workers as Wal–Mart,(Bureau of labour Statistics (2004) and 72% of union workers have guaranteed pension schemes whereas only 15% of non–union employees (such as those at Wal–Mart) have the same sort of deal. Wal–Mart can use these tools to control their staff because of the poor labour laws in America (Miller (2004)). This 'external fit' notion has been criticised because ... • 32. Argument Essay: Do Kids Have To Wake Up? BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! You're familiar with that sound, it's the sound of you're alarm clock. It's really hard for kids to wake up to the sound isn't it? It's not even good for them either! Yet, kids, whose appetites for sleep are the biggest, have to wake up as early as 6:00 a.m.! It's crazy how they, the school boards, set the system up. And bus drivers, who also have to wake up quite early, might be having problems waking up. Even if they don't, someone behind them might be and that puts the whole bus at risk! Anyways, the point is that the decision made for the school arrival time was wrong and it needs to be changed on a large scale. This means in EVERY high school. Starting school too early is not only a nuisance... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The time they use up is sleep time! This leads to sleep deprivation and causes the above stated affects that were stated by the chief of medicine in Chicago. Another factor in this whole mess is a sleep inducing chemical called melatonin. This chemical is what tells your brain that its time to take a rest so it doesn't go into over drive. More specifically, this chemical starts to go to work at around 10 P.M., and wears off at around 8 A.M. This means that there are still significant amounts of this chemical in a teens mind at 7 or even 6 o'clock in the morning. His, or her, whole morning is then reduced to a blur of events and their is no point in teaching them anything that early because many times they don't even remembers it! Eventually, when they reach adulthood, this changes and it starts to merge into their evolved circadian clock, the internal sleeping mechanism that dictates sleeping patterns. Simply, it means they will be able to wake up earlier, and have to sleep less. The most important reason that teens need more sleep is sleep deprivation, again, but this time it's with driving. Yes, you may or may not well be familiar with this horrid combination, but it's like drinking and driving! If you don't approve that then you definitely won't support this. Did you know that being awake for a full 24 hours, which many teens might do, is like have a BAC level of .07. Of course, this might ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 34. A Short Story : A Story? "Yes?" the girl asked, allowing the boy to speak. "What happens if we break the rules?" the boy questioned. "Death. You will be killed, but only if you don't follow the rules. Everything will be fine as long as you play along," the girl replied, nonchalantly. Every conversation cut off. The children all became mute, stunned at the term the girl had used so loosely. Death. They hadn't heard it much, but they understood that it was a topic that should not often be discussed. Not one child dare to make a noise. It was as if they were all holding their breaths. Many children waited for the girl to speak again and say it was only a joke. She began to shake him, trying to wake him up. "Get up Johnny! Please get up! This isn't funny!" the girl bawled. "What's wrong with you?" she cried. "Don't worry. He's dead. There's nothing you can do," the girl answered coolly. The girl next to the dead boy, began to sob. Everyone around soon became aware that the mysterious girl was serious. She would kill all of them without batting an eyelash. • 36. Analysis Of Hamlet Wakes Up Late In the Cornell Schwartz Center for Performing Arts production of Hamlet Wakes Up Late, Director Rebekah Maggor made various innovations in the stage design, music, costume, and the actors' lines and motions to make the play more effective and more understandable to a Cornell audience. Hamlet Wakes Up Late included Elizabethan, Arabic, and modern music in one play. As mentioned by Professor Maggor, the production featured original music composed by a Syrian–American composer, and played by a violinist, a violist, and a guitarist. Prior to the performance, the trio played the music from the inset Shahryar directed by Hamlet in full–length, which was a blend of Arabic and modern music. The stylistic features in this piece gave the audience who were unfamiliar with the play an impression of the setting. Later, I was surprised that these three musicians directly participated in the performance. In the play, they were also the musicians hired by Hamlet. During the rehearsal of Shahryar, Hamlet invited them to the forestage to help with the practice. The frequent pauses of the music as Hamlet and his friends were constantly giving commands created a humorous effect. After the intermission, King Claudius celebrated his marriage with Gertrude with a prom. The characters danced to music that shifted between Elizabethan court music and Despacito, the most popular song on Youtube. The actors also shifted between Baroque and street dance according to the music. Such unexpected ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
