activities undertaken to boost sales of the product
or service.
Sales promotion is any initiative undertaken by
an orgnisation to promote increase in sales.

taken for the purpose of obtaining or
increasing sales”

To attract new customers and retain the existing
ones .
To maintain sales of seasonal products.

and thus, increases profits.
It helps to introduce new products in market by
drawing attention of potential customers.

The consumer gets the product at a cheaper rate.
