Yes No
9 out of 10 respondents said that they would be
willing to pay £2.99 for the magazine, although
there was 1 that said they would not be willing
to pay this price, this is positive as 9/10 people
would pay. The reason they may not want to pay
this money is because they could possibly have
slight different interests within the indie genre
therefore they would not like to pay this amount
of money for the magazine.
The percentage of people willing to pay is high at
90%, this is because in comparison to other
magazines such as Uncut, Q and MOJO, Acoustic
is slightly cheaper.

go well together on the magazine, this may be
because I have fit the font sizes to match with

The 1 out of ten that said no, this may be because I
have used a standard font throughout.

Yes No
80% of my respondents said that my front cover is
well layed out, I think this is because it is not too
packed with coverlines but there is a nice amount, I
also think this is because the coverlines are placed
around the image and are not covering anything
important.
The remaining 20% of my respondents that said no,
may have said this because the coverlines could
have been placed in different positions so that the
colours do not mix in with the background colour.

they have come from the same
magazine. This shows that my magazine
follows the same theme and colour
scheme
9. Question 8 – What is it that attracts you
to the magazine the most?
The bands The colours The large font
Out of the 10 people I asked, 4 people said
that the bands on the front cover is what
attracts them to the magazine, this may be
because they are fans of the certain indie
bands on the front cover. 3 people said the
colours, and 3 people said the large font,
this may be because they are bright
compared to the dull on background, so
they stand out a lot. The large font may
attract the audience the most as it is large
and is one of the first things that is read
when the audience glance over.
