 Satia Beel, the marshland, is like a sea of
floating water lilies expanding as far as the
eye can reach.
 This lasts for around five months, from June
July to October November and draws visitors
from all over.

 The 200 acres beel is in Uzirpur Upazila Halta
and some 60 kilometers away from Barisal
city.
 Shuffler is cultivated in about 10,000 acres of
wetlands of this village called Uttar Satla.
80% of the villagers are involved in water lily

Kuata is located 60 km south of
patuakhali sadar.
It’s known as ‘Sagarkanya’.
It’s length is 18 km.

district.
The water museum has water samples of
more than 90 rives including
jamuna,Buriganga,Padma,meghna

from 10 am to 6 pm on 6 days of the week
except for sunday

Declared as a protected forest on July 12,
1960,
in 1967 the forest was named Tengragiri
Forest.
It is the second-largest respiratory forest in
Bangladesh after the Sundarbans,

historical tourist attractions.so one can easily visit the
district without any hesitation. Jhalokatibis famous
for beautiful rivers and canals like vBarishal.Tourists
can find it enjoyable to travel through boats.

Name of the village is HasraGati.Every year in the
month of Falgun there hold a fair in front of the
Mondir for three days long.

Saturia. It is the home of Sheikh Shahabuddin, the
founder of the Zamindar family of Saturia and Islami
Saint.

beautiful natural beauty and has been blessed with
the birth of a greatman.it is really very good place
for any tourist.
