8. Saindak copper-gold mine is located
near saindak town in chagai district
of Balochistan.
The discovery of copper at saindak was
1970s .
Pakistan and china signed a formal contract
worth $350 million for development of
saindak copper-gold mine. The mine was
leased for a 10-year period to metallurgical
corporation of china ltd. (MCC).
Saindak is 70 kilometers north-west
of Naukundi, close to Pakistan's border
with Iran and Afghanistan.

summers of 40-50 °c to very cool winters of
up to -10 °c.
Saindak is famous because of its
vast gold and copper reserves and its believed

12. Ziarat is a city and the capital of ziarat
district, Balochistan the province of Pakistan it is a
holiday resort.
About 130 kilometers (81 mi) from the capital city of
Balochistan province Quetta.
 The famous Quaid-e-Azam residency is also there in
the valley, where Quaid-e-Azam (the founder of
Pakistan) spent a few of his most memorable days, last
two months and ten days of his life.
 Tourists from all over Balochista and also
from Sindh province visit the valley in the harsh
summers. its overall cold weather, fascinating
sceneries, lush green forests and mighty mountains
attracts tourists of all kinds.

16.  Hazarganji Chiltan national park is a national park
in the mastung district of western Balochistan
province of Pakistan. it lies between chiltan on its
west and hazarganji on the east.
 The park was established in 1980 to provide the
habitat to rare chiltan ibexes found in the area.
 Covers 325,000 acre of land located close to
the koh-i-chiltan mountain in Quetta's .
 The park is located in the sulaiman mountains,
with desert and forest habitats.
 About 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of the city of
Quetta.
 Height of Koh e Chiltan 3,194 m.

18. Hanna lake
 Hanna Lake is in the hills close to where the Urak
Valley begins 17 kilometres (11 mi) east
from Quetta city.
 The reservoir was constructed in 1894 during the
British Colonial era.
 One of the main attractions in the city and a great
historical bridge wall between two mountains the
depths like battlements of a fort for storing of water.
 Surface area 27 acres.
 Average depth 49 feet , 15 m.
 Holding capacity of over 220 million gallons of water.

migrated birds were in trouble

again gave rise to flora and fauna in its
environment.

24.  The bolān pass is a mountain pass through the toba
kakar range of Balochistan province in
western pakistan,
 120 km (75 mi) from the afghanistan border.
 The pass is an 89 km (55 mi) stretch of the Bolan
river valley from Rindli in the south to Darwāza
near Kolpur in the north.
 It is made up of a number of narrow gorges . it
connects Sibi with Quetta both by road and railway.
 Nomadic tribes have also used it as a gateway to and
from South Asia.
 The bolān pass is an important pass on the Baloch
frontier, connecting Jacobabad and Sibi with Quetta,
which has always occupied an important place in the
history of British campaigns in afghanistan.

28. Pir ghaib waterfalls are situated in the bolan
valley.
At a distance of 70 kilometers from Quetta on
sibi road is situated a popular picnic point known
as (Pir Ghaib)
 Here a waterfall cascades down rocky
mountainside making its way through many
streams and ponds among the shady palm trees.
 You need a 4-wheel-drive vehicle to reach the
spot from the main road

31.  Meaning of Gawadar.
 The word gawadar was actually “Gwat –a –Dar’’
which means the door of wind in Balochi language.
 Located at the entrance of the Persian Gulf and
about 460 kilometers from Karachi.
 Gawadar is located on the western end of coast of
Balochistan and have 600 km long coastline along
the Makran coast of the Arabian sea.
 The Distance of Gawadar from the Capital city of
province is 917 kilometers.
 Distance between Gawadar and Gujrat Pakistan

32.  Gawadar port is a warm-water , deep sea port situated on the
Baloch sea/ Arabian sea at gawadar in Balochistan province.
 On 8 September 1958, Pakistan purchase gawadar from Oman
for $3 million.
 In 1993,the government of Pakistan create a plan to Develop
gawadar into major port city.
 Gawadar was completed in 2007 and inaugurated on 20 march
2007 by general Parvez Musharraf in $248 million.
 The project (CPEC) was proposed by Chinese premier li during
his visit to Pakistan in may 2013.
 In April 2015 Pakistan and china announced $46 million for
develop CPEC.
 The gawadar port has officially leased to china for 43 years until
2059 this port will be used for transportation ,CPEC Route,
Connecting Gawadar to Kashghar.

36.  Hingol national park covers an area of 6,100 square
kilometers (2,400 sq. mi).
 It was established in 1988. In 2004, the Makran
coastal highway which links Karachi with the port
town of Gwadar was opened.
 Hingol national park is along the makran coast in
southwestern Balochistan province, southwestern
pakistan.
 It lies within sections of lasbela district, gwadar
district, and awaran district.
 The provincial capital of Quetta is approximately
717 km. The provincial capital of sindh is 190 km to
the southeast on the coast.

Hingol Mud Volcano .
 The name princess of hope was given by Hollywood
actress Angelina Jolie on her visit to this area.
 In the past due to the political situation, people didn't
prefer to go there. But now things have changed and
many people go to kund malir on weekends from karachi
and other areas.

district located in the southern part
of Balochistan along the Arabian
sea, pakistan.
It is also a union council of hub tehsil and is
just a 1-hour drive away from karachi, sindh.
 97% of the population is Muslim with a
small Hindu minority.

speaks Balochi and there is a
small Sindhi speaking minority.
This language is derived from Iran. They
belong to kurd, Sajdi, Muhammad hasni,
and Bezinjo tribes.

 Astola island, also known as jezira Haft talar in Balochi language.
 The island is part of the Pasni subdistrict of Gwadar
District in Balochistan province.
 Pakistan declared astola as its first marine protected
area in June 2017.
 Astola island approximately 6.7 km (4.2 mi) long with
a maximum width of 2.3 km (1.4 mi) and an area of
approximately 6.7 km2 (2.6 sq. mi).
 The highest point is 246 ft (75 m) above sea level
