2. The class is a Kindergarten class that has 17
children in it, 9 girls and 8 boys. 10 of the
students come from low SES families.
2 students are on the Autism spectrum
3 of the students have ADHD
3. Students will identify numbers based on their
values, through demonstrating the values of
numbers, creating greater than/less than
symbols, and rearranging numbers to make
correct statements with a 90%
understanding.
4. Monday- Students will be introduced to numbers 0-9. We
will go over the names and learn how to draw then
numbers and match them with the name.
Tuesday- Students will learn the values of the numbers so
we can match them up with the name and shape.
Wednesday- Students will be introduced to that numbers
can be greater than others by the numbers values. The
time will be spent creating greater than/less than symbols
that will be used the next day
Thursday- Students will use their greater than and less
than symbols to work through problems in groups to have
understanding of numbers.
Friday- Students will get in groups and I will sit with them
and ask questions about numbers and see how well they
have mastered the understanding of greater than, less
than, and how names and pictures of numbers.
