Secondlife tour, M1.2.

1. Secondlife – Pict Assignment
Dr. O’Conner,
I completed the Secondlife assignment successfully. I am a Mac user, and when
necessary (completing this assignment), run a virtual PC on my Mac. All
Secondlife/avatar controls operated well (I met Sandra from our class this morning (9/14)
and we text chatted, communicated, connected as friends and Sandra successfully
teleported me into the Science Center) on the virtual PC, with the exception of running
Secondlife graphics. I modified settings on my Mac to increase virtual PC ram, but this
did not improve graphics. So when you see my picts on next (4) slides, you will
understand.
I searched for Mac version of Secondlife and it exists! Before I download and try
running, thought I would ask if you know whether Mac version is compatible?
