This document discusses pre-production details for a platform game, including font selection, game layouts, character and object design, required props and locations, contingency planning, health and safety considerations, and a production schedule. The game will involve collecting coins while jumping on enemies and avoiding sharp falling objects. One character will be used with a shield that can be broken by some rocks. The schedule allocates 8 days for tasks like research, character/enemy/background design, animation, and an evaluation presentation.
2. Style sheet
I really like the mochasy font
but it is unfortunately not
suitable because it is too fancy,
so is the manguesite font. The
friends da vinci font is not only a
little too fancy but also full of
curls and swirls which is not
appropriate. The badaboom
font is friendly and suitable for
my game and this is why I have
chose to use it
3. Layout 1
This general idea is a simple
platform game that has coins
to collect along the way and
you have to jump on the
enemies to kill them, if
however the enemy hits you it
would loose one of the 3
available lives
4. Layout 2
I have decided to have one
character on this one and
have objects fall from the
roof, some of the objects will
be power-ups, some will be
sharp rocks that if your shield
is used it will brake the shield
but other rocks it will not
brake the shield but it the
rock hits the floor it will brake
the floor so there will b less
objects to stand on
