th
• We had a national school inspection,
these happen approximately every 3
years.
Here are some things they said about
us…
3. • In the Early Years classes, work builds well on
children’s natural curiosity and helps them to
become confident and independent.
• The school has responded promptly to its
changing intake. Leaders ensure that pupils
with English as an additional language make
good progress.
• Parents and carers are very pleased with the
work of the school and contribute well to its
success.
4. July
• We held a meeting for the new parents
whose children would start school in
September.
10. Home visits
• We found it really useful this year to visit
each child in their own home before they
started school.
• This gave us a chance to see how the
child behaves in their familiar
surroundings and gave the parent’s the
opportunity to discuss any concerns and
ask any questions they have about their
child starting school.
11. • This is already having an impact with
parent’s showing greater trust in us and
children coming into school confidently.
