This is a brief description of the different experiences EFL learners face when starting an english course. Different feelings and perceptions are also referred to.

1. EFL STUDIES
Studying English has been one of the most wonderful and enriching experiences to
me, not just because of what I have learnt academically but for all the aspects that
the nature of this career has helped me to improve about my personality. When I
started studying English I had the misconception that learning a second language
was something really boring and though but trough the time my thoughts have
totally changed. The interaction is one relevant feature that makes this career not
just exciting but interesting in terms of learning from others and having the
opportunity of expressing and sharing thoughts freely without any critical
judgments.
I consider that interacting and getting to know people you are surrounded by is
what makes this career really interesting and is what have made feel comfortable
with it taking into account that the idea of becoming into a teacher does not really
make me feel so good. I think that being in the licenciatura program has helped
me in some fields in my life because I have learnt lots of things, I have developed
critical thoughts about education and most importantly I have learnt to be a more
outgoing and understanding person which I consider will help me as a professional
in the future.
