2. Autobiography
I am Angela Huang. I come from
Taichung Fengyuan. I major in English
department and minor in tourism in
Providence University.

3. My hobby is listening to music,
watching American films, traveling,
and reading English magazines.

4. I like to do something with English in
my free time because I am interested
in reading English. English songs ,
films, and magazines are useful in my
daily life.

5. I can learn a lot of useful words and
foreign cultures from the films.
What’s more, I get used to their
accents from different countries. The
other hobbies let me feel relaxing. As
for me, traveling is the best way to
obtain knowledge.

6. I love English, so I want to teach
English in the future. I hope that I
can let students know learning
English is important and fun by
teaching. That’s the reason why I
choose English teaching as my major.

7. English is an international language
and it is a tool for communication. It
is not only used in studying, but also
used in tourism. If I am good at
English speaking, communicating
with foreigners is not a big deal for
me.

experiences of teaching, I have had a
part time job in the English cram
school since I was a freshman. At first,
I learned everything about
administration counter.

10. I learned how to introduce the
curriculum, receive tuition, answer
the phone calls, deal with the
questions that parents offer, and get
along with children and so on. These
things are the basic procedures in a
cram school.

11. Before being an English teacher, the
stuff is also important because each
class I teach is related to
administration. If I am familiar with
those things, it is easy for me to
answer parents’ questions. Now, I am
a part time teacher.

12. Before I teach students, I took
Children’s English Education training
course, and I also got the certificate of
Qualification. This certification really
confirmed me a lot!

13. I have two classes every week. One
class is for children English, and the
other one is for Junior high school. I
got lots of real experiences from the
job. Teaching is not so ideal like the
textbook described. In fact, there are
many problems in teaching.

14.  In sum, teaching makes me have a sense
of achievement because students interact
with me nicely, they ask me questions,
and even share everything with me after
the class. Of course, getting good grades
on English also makes me happy, but
interaction is more important than that.
