Vilhelm Hammershøi was a very famous painter. He was born in 1864. He is especially known for his
masterpiece “ Ida læser et brev,” which was painted in 1899. The painting was the most expensive painting
sold in Denmark.The painting was sold to the auction, at sotheby's in London in june 2012 for 21.300.000 kr.
In fact 5 paintings were sold at the auction on monday. Already at the age of 6 Vilhelm had drawing lessons.
He graduated at the age of 14. Vilhelm made paintings of quite women, seeking hope all over the world
throughout a window.

3. Christen Købke
Christian Købke is a danish painter. Christian Købke grew up in a solid civil environment, first in Hillerød and
from 1819 at the Kastellet in Copenhagen, where his father, baker Peter Berendt Købke, owned the military bakery.
Købke started as a boy at the Academy of Fine Arts in 1822, first with C.A. Lorentzen and from 1828 with C.W.
Eckersberg as Professor.
The first maturing years of Eckersberg with both the linear perspective and the center of nature in the center

is a danish painter, and has painted
many Pictures. At the age of 11, Otto
Bache was admitted to the Academy
of Arts, where he learned to paint

You're highness Margrethe Alexandrine Þórhildur Ingrid, was born 16th april
1940. She is the danish queen, but is much more than a queen of Denmark, she
is also queen of the crafts and designs. She makes tons of designs, like cards,
close and paintings. She is very creative, and gives many inspiration.

Born in the Frederiksberg district of
Copenhagen, he was the younger brother
of the painter Vilhelm Hammershøi who
was a strong source of influence and
inspiration. After a preparatory period at
the Copenhagen Technical School, he
studied painting at the Royal Danish
Academy of Fine Arts from 1890 to 1892,
after which he spent a further five years at
Kristian Zahrtmann school, painters Free

7. P.S krøyer
P.S. Krøyer was famous throughout Europe, long before he went to
Skagen, but the paintings from Denmark's top gave him the popular
breakthrough. Mental illness and personal sorrow, however, took too
early the life of Krøyer, who, with his death just 100 years ago,
closed a crucial chapter in Danish art history
The painting of the highly burning fiery fire, surrounded by Skagen's
notabilities, is considered by many as P.S. Krøyer's "Magnus Opus",
the crucial massacre that encloses the great life of the famous artist.
And it is also a work that can be seen as the artist's attempt to put a
mirror in front of himself and the people who characterized his life
course.
