3. Why we made this logo
• Our genre is action and we wanted to show that in our logo to let the
audience know what kind of films we specialise in and what you should
expect to see when watching our movies.
• The bullet shows the fast pace, action packed, exhilarating sound, against
time, thriller-like kind of action.
• The smoke trail shows the fantastic motion picture, incredible slow-motion
and amazing visuals that are expected to be seen in every movie we make.
• The targets in the word “productions” show the concentration, accuracy
and precise detail that is put into each and every one of our films.
• The final product is all these things combined making it an unbelievable
cinematic experience even at home, a true master piece of on-screen art
and an ideal example of perfection.
4. What inspired us to make this type of logo
design
We researched many popular studio logos that specialise in action movies and got ideas and themes
about how we should make our logo such as:
• Marvel
• DC Universe
• Man of action studios
• Sony pictures
• Muvee action studio
All these studios adapt their logo to try and relate it to the different movie genres they make but
when its action its usually very loud and has a lot of special effects and the sound and sight of a gun
shot is almost the perfect thing to use for a action studio logo as it is loud looks good on camera and
is appealing to people who like action movies.
5. How we did it
• We used Google images to find a picture that relates to our genre and
something we can base it on.
• Once we found what we wanted we put it on a program called
Photoshop.
• This then allowed us to edit the picture and mould it into what we
wanted by changing the lighting, shape, brightness and contrast of
the logo.
• We then chose the colours and plumped up the image to give it a 3d
look.
• We then chose the front and colours for our name and adapted it to
fit in with our logo design. The end product was a success.
