2.  The tile may be defined as thin slabs of brick
which are burn in kiln. He are thinner than

2. Then converted into fine powder in pug
mills.
3. The mixture is mixed with water and
allowed to stand quietly in tank.
4. The fine particles are taken into another
tank and allowed to dry off.
5. This fine particle is used to make the
common tiles .

2. Moulding may be done with the wooden
moulds, mechanical means or potters
wheel.
3. The clay is pressed into such moulds.
4. Then taken out and allowed to dry off.

2. After 2 days wrapping is corrected by flat
wooden mallat.
3. The tiles are then lifted as they have now
became hand hard.

then stacked under the shed for 2 days.

2. The typical kiln , siakote accomodates 30,000-
40,000 tiles.
3. The heat in the kiln is raised to about 800 –
1300 degree celsius.
4. After a series of procedures to cool down .
5. The procedure requires 72 hours and then is
removed from the kiln.
