3. Naomi Wolf
• On my contents page, I have used the model
whom I used on my front cover and followed
Wolf’s theory by using this young attractive
model to sell and promote my magazine to my
target audience as it applies to both male and
female.

4. Marjorie Ferguson
• Marjorie Ferguson focuses upon female facial
expressions and how they can attract an
audience. My magazine includes Romantic or
Sexual in the image on the bottom left as there
are a male and female in close contact with each
other, looking away from the camera to create a
dramatic look. The purpose of the image is not to
look sensual or sexual, but more to look dramatic
and mysterious. All of my images include this
feature as non of the artists are looking directly at
the camera and smiling, because that is not my
style.

5. Trevor Millum
• Trevor Millum focuses upon male facial
expressions and how they can be used to
promote a magazine. He identifies them into
categories: carefree, practical, seductive, comic
and catalogue. Throughout my contents page all
of the facial expressions fall under the practical
category due to the seriousness of their
expressions and the fact that they are looking
away from the camera gives them more of an
edgy look which fits with the punk aesthetic style.

because I have researched some material
based on their preferences, and produced
stories/features that the readers will want. For
example, I have incorporated some musicians
from popular magazines such as Q to ensure
that the readers will be attracted to my
magazine.
