1. Green Technology
The field of “Green
technology” enclompasses a
continously evolving group of
methods and
Materials, from techniques for
generating enery for non-toxic
cleaning products.
Example of ”Green technology” subject areas:
Sustainable energy(development of alternative
fuels, eg: solar energy, wind energy and etc.)
Environment friendly products(those product are
which give the environment the least impact.)
Green chemistry (inventation, design and
application of the chemical products to reduce or
to eliminate generation of hazardous substances.)
However the Green technology is still to
expensive to the market, it needs a higher
cost to build a green technology building than
a normal building.
Hence, the price of the green technology
materials also play an important role in
developing this technology/.

Q: WHY DO YOU
INVOLVE YOURSELF IN
THIS INDUSTRY? AND
BECOME A
DEVELOPER?
L: I studied engineering
and I like the
construction and
property development.
Basically, the exciting part
is when you look down at
the piece of land, your
mind begin to imagine
what it can happen if I do
something to it. It just
like you study
architecture, a piece of
paper come out with
something. That is on
paper, you can erase you
can change, but a
developer, what you see
and what you try cannot
be erased That is my
personal opinion on why i
like to be in property
development.

3. Q: How is your early life as a
developer?
L: Of course it is a learning process.
Early life you begin to play a smaller
role that you understand then you
expand your role so that you have a
total picture like a helicopter view,
from a piece of land what you can do,
what are the requirement, what are the
authorities. Early life probably we just
taking care of how to get it build
according to what it’s design for, and
from there you learn more.what is the
purpose, the function, what is the most
practical way of deciding it. It is a
learning process
Q: What is your view in green technology?
L: Green technology is something that is upfront you have to put in
much higher cost than the original building, so at the moment, the
cost is already so high, that is why green technology building are not
widely acceptable by customer. We can provide all these green
technology, but then the consumer gonna pay for it.

4. ADVICE FROM MR. JERRY LAU HING KIET
“Sometimes, when you design something is not only what you like,
but you have to design something that is needed in this community
in this location and are they able to accept the concept yet or not”
by MR Jerry Lau Hing Kiet Sometimes, design something is not only
what you like, for example, some project that has advance design,
youngster like it, but they cannot afford it, but parent object it
because it is too advance for them. Research on what is needed in
this community in that location and are they able to accept that
concept should be consider first.
