The document discusses the missions and goals of "The Green Venture" thesis project. 2. The Green Venture Our thesis ( The Green Venture) has three missions: The first mission deals with two important questions: Is it possible to fight against climate change through technology? Is it possible to turn this project into an economic and business successful? The second mission is to analyse a technology from a PhD thesis of my university in Spain (UPC). The last mission of our thesis is doing a business plan of the organisation, as a theoretical exercice.

3. The Green Venture The Green Venture stands up on environment and technology. Its heart is open innovation. It embrace Europe and Asia and thinks on hybrid organisations.

4. Technology Technology is a broad concept that deals with the usage and knowledge of tools and crafts, and how it affects the ability to control and adapt to the environment . In human society, it is a consequence of science and engineering . University is one of the most important sources of knowledge in our society. Technology transfer is the process of developing practical applications for the results of research.

6. Environment (1) Environment is an interesting area where concepts, techniques and methods from different sciences converge into one. Natural environment is being dealt in a global way from a systemic vision . It allows understanding the world as a complex system of relationships and makes possible to grasp the fragility of the Earth and the importance of taking care of it. Sustainability develpment is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

12. Hybrid organization Hybrid models for profit – non profit is a new model for organisations, which deals with public and private sector. Social Entrepreneurship combines the passion of a social mission with an image of business-like discipline.

13. Asia and Europe Climate change is one of the greatest environmental, social and economic threats facing the planet . Europe is leading the world on climate change policies . China has shown great leadership in applying innovation to development challanges.

14. Conclusions The Green Venture is a non-common thesis which mixes many topics, from engineering to environment, through open innovations and hybrid organizations. Moreover, it is a thesis wich focus on Asia and Europe, in particular China and Spain . The Green Venture is a thesis which needs a lot of collaboration from many people. Any new idea or collaboration will be welcome .
