2. Internal Factors TPACK would be easily adapted into my teaching style throughout the year. TPACK is something that can be initiated when necessary. It needs to begin with the content that is trying to be taught and finding the right technology to tie into it to make your lesson more effective. However, I do feel that sometimes it is a challenge incorporating independent technology use with Kindergarteners. I feel that technology should be in every classroom and utilized to the fullest extent possible, when applicable!

6. Welcome to Kindergarten The factors that pose a problem with involving technology use into the content is the ability of my students. Later in the year they have more of an ability to use Web 2.0 technologies and have a better grasp of the computer. Even then, some students may not understand what they are supposed to do without support.
7. Providing Support Support can be given, but it is difficult to support that many students independently. The students are eager to use technology, it is getting to the independent use that is difficult, but worth it.
8. External Factors The cost of equipment and purchasing of equipment is out of my control. I wish I was able to purchase more technology equipment for my classroom (i.e. SMART table). Also, the District blocks many sites that are Web 2.0 applications. It is not difficult, just a hassle to get websites unblocked.
9. My Outlook I do not think it is difficult to incorporate new technology into your teaching styles or methods, especially not mine. I have a very technological, digital, teaching style that allows the students independent use of technology.
10. I feel that if I do not allow my students the freedom to try (and make mistakes) then they really will never grasp what they are doing/learning. There is a time and place for integrating technology in the curriculum, and it is up to the teacher to realize when it is vital to use it and when it is better without.
11. My outlook on others Other teachers may be afraid of this. There is nothing to fear, but when they refuse to use technology, it hurts those that do. The technology is getting wasted (wasted money) and people see it.
12. Technology is not applicable to every lesson and especially in Kindergarten, it is not always beneficial to the students to use technology. The students enjoy using technology and should be allowed to use it, but it MUST be the addition to the content, not the content itself.
