2. Preparations
๏ Before I started to create my music magazine, I needed
to learn about how to generate sales from potential
consumers.
๏ Before I created the magazine; I decided that my
magazine needed to be eye-catching for potential
consumers to gaze at.
๏ I decided to use the conventional 4 colours (red,
yellow, white and black) to feature on the cover and
throughout the magazine.
๏ By using these conventional colours. I know that it will
likely to be noticed, where sold.
3. Mode of Address
๏ Right the way through my magazine, the mode of
address is presented in a professional manner.
๏ I decided to use a professional dialect in my magazine
to appeal to the older members of my target audience
(16-40)
๏ This theme also coincides with the magazinesโ
presentation. The layout of my magazine is very sleek
and tidy to appropriate for all the readers of the
magazine looking for a professionally made magazine.
4. Front Cover
๏ Their are a variety of different
techniques I have used to attract
consumers.
๏ The four main colours have been
used.
๏ I have also included artists on
the cover to relate to the image
and the target audience of the
magazine (e.g. Paul McCartney
and Fleetwood Mac)
5. Contents
๏ Similarly to the front covers, I
have used the four main colours,
to create a sense of compatibility
throughout the magazine.
๏ I have also continued the theme
of compatibility with the header
of the contents page
๏ On the bottom of the contents
page, I have included a web-
address to the more converging
consumer to engage in
interactivity online. Through the
medium of a multi-platform.
6. Double Page Spread
๏ Similarly to the previous
pages, the same colour
scheme and heading style
have been included.
๏ The main image has been
included wearing causal
attire. This would be
appropriate with the younger
members of my target
audience
