The phrase "the cleaner you are, the dirtier you get", has traditionally been very logical, meaning
that after you bathe, you are only going to get dirty –or unclean– from that point forward. However,
in today's society, the word "dirty" has an erotic and sexually suggestive connotation. Although this
ad reinforces negative gender stereotypes and is demeaning to women, men continue to buy Axe,
leading the company to become the champion of men's body products. This ad works in three ways:
it sexualizes women, it powerfully affects the target market, and the message is clear.
Axe's advertisement suggests a heterosexual sexually–driven reality of its predominantly male
customers and attempts to sell much more than a shower gel. This ad uses pathos to evoke an

Simons, who were hiking near the Austrian and Italian border in the Alps. They both had wandered

Source D is a drawing of flat axes, I concluded this as the drawings look similar to the development
of hand–axes. This provides a typological sequence as through the 'Darwinian theory' of evolution,
archaeologists applied the rule of "like goes with like" forming a rough chronological sequence. I
believe these axes to be from Bronze Age Britain between 2500 to 800 BC because they're made

The Common Man In Robert Bolt's A Man For All Seasons
In the opening lines of A Man for All Seasons by Robert Bolt, the Common Man proclaims, "It is
perverse! To start a play made up of Kings and Cardinals in speaking costumes and intellectuals
with embroidered mouths, with me" (3). The Common Man cannot believe that Bolt is choosing to
start off a play of Kings and Cardinals with a man such as himself. He does not believe he, a
Common Man, is worthy of this role. Within these opening lines the reader is faced with a question,
why did Bolt chose to allow the Common Man to begin the play? Bolt is attempting to make a point
about the presence of ordinariness and conformity, using Kings and Cardinals as an example of
characters who attempt to rise above and try to make a difference.
To begin, the play opens with a monologue by the Common Man. Bolt introduces the Common Man
in the opening lines with a monologue to show that the actions of the Common Man are important to
the play. To further justify the Common Mans purpose in the play; Bolt makes the Common Man a
narrator for the play. The Common Man takes on roles similar to a narrator by re–explaining scenes

extra roles and narrator position because he knew he would be able to conform to such roles.
As well as pointing out the Common Man's multitude of roles in the play, Bolt also distinguishes the
Common Man's ability to make choices that go against his moral compass in order to stay alive,
unlike More. The contrast between More's willingness to die for what he believes in, and the
Common Man's unwillingness to stand up for anything at all,

Hello, this is my opinion on Lizzie, although the poem says she took an axe, what was John doing,
the maid, and sister? The maid was the only person in the house besides Lizzie and Abbi. Did they
set up the murders? John was out of town, suspiciously, and the sister was out with a friend. The
father was running errands. Lizzie had an attorney and claimed Lizzie was sleeping during the
murders. And if these people did associate with Lizzie, why, they as much to gain as anyone? Did
Andrew choose ,favorites? Was Abbi a bad mother? We may never know.
My last thing to say about Lizzie, is why did she kill her parents? Lizzie had nothing to gain by
