Summary Of Stephen Vincent Bent JohnBy The Waters Of Babylon
In the story "By the Waters of Babylon" by Stephen Vincent Benét John the main character of the
story learns the difference in knowledge and truth. John the son of a priest goes to the east which is
forbidden to learn more about the Place of the Gods but the truth is more than John should've
known. In John's society the most important people are the priest or the sons of priests and John is a
son of a priest him and his father and other priest are allowed to go into the dead places and touch
the metals. As John got older he began to have dreams "It was what I have always seen– a river, and,
beyond it, a great Dead Place and in it the gods walking." (page 2) this dream caused him to want to
began his journey "It is time for me to go on my journey. Give me my leave." (page 2) this quote is
john asking his father for permission to go on his journey and find the truth and the knowledge
behind his dream. When John began his dream his father touched his breast and his forehead and
gave him a bow and three arrows John was also fasting for it was a law and he set off to find out his
dream the only problem was he didn't know which way to go so he prayed and purified himself
waiting for a sign. His first sign was an eagle flying east but signs can sometimes be misleading so
he waited longer his next sign were three deer one of the three was pure white which is "...a very
great sign" (page 3) and they were all walking east when all of a sudden came a jaguar and is

The Effects Of Stress On Captive Zoo Animals
Introduction.
The effects of stress on captive zoo animals has been a major concern among zoologists as well as
zookeepers in recent years (Fernandez et al.2009). In previous studies, one of the major factors
inducing stress in captive animals that appears to have been overlooked, are the noise levels created
by the presence of zoo visitors and the effectiveness of the design of indoor zoo exhibits in reducing
the noise levels in particular. While research exists showing that the presence of zoo visitors can be
a source of enrichment for captive animals, particularly those who are social by nature, further
investigations have indicated that visitor presence can in fact be a source of stress in non–social
species including felids (Hosey 2000). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This study will look at the effectiveness of the exhibit design in preventing noise pollution caused
by the increased number of visitors to the Milwaukee County Zoo jaguar exhibit. The exhibit which
contains both an indoor portion which is designed to resemble the jaguar's native jungle habitat as
well as an outdoor portion, currently houses three adult jaguars, Pat, Stella, and Francisco. Both Pat,
who is 16 years old and formally a "Problem jaguar" from Belize, and Stella who came to the
Milwaukee County Zoo in 2005, live together as a breeding pair (K. Kuhn in conversation).
Francisco is the 2–year–old son of Pat and Stella and lives alone (K. Kuhn in conversation). Over
the course of six weeks, I will be collecting data using Wensen WS1361C decibel meters which are
equipped with data loggers. The decibel meters will be used both inside and outside the jaguar
exhibit to determine the effectiveness of the exhibit design. To analyze the zoo visitor effect, as well
as the frequency of stress–related behavioral responses observed, data will be collected during on
three different days of the week both through observation of the jaguars as well as later analysis of
the data recorded by the decibel meters. Data will be collected both on days where zoo visitation is
predicted to increase, which are designated as "Family Free Days," where visitors receive free
admission as well as "Non–Family Free days" and Thursday afternoons where a decrease in zoo
visitation is predicted for observation time totaling a minimum of 15 hours. The recorded data will
then be analyzed to determine if the increased noise pollution created by an increase in zoo visitors
will correlate with an increase in stress–related behavioral responses by the jaguars.

Characteristics Of Leopards And Leopards
Leopards The name leopard comes from a Greek word meaning leopardus. Which it's a combination
of a lion and a panther. They are also considered as panthers but it just has spots. Leopards look
similar to the jaguars but just that the leopards have little spots than the jaguar's spots. These big cats
aren't just any other big cats like the lion, jaguars, and tigers, What makes them different than the
jaguars is their coat, how they take care of their cubs, and what their diet is. I know leopards are
similar like these other big cats but let's just focus on these unique cats. These panthers with spots
have a soft fur just like any other mammals. Most of the mammals fur are soft. Leopards and jaguars
have the same patterns of fur, such as spot that are black. "The coat of most leopards is light tan with
many dense black spots" (page. 202 – 203) says Schlitter. Which the leopards are described in some
people eyes when they see them. As in the jaguars their fur have bigger spots and sometimes have
little spots inside the spots. The leopards fur camouflages them into the grass that is around them,
when they are being sneaky for their meal of the day.
A leopard's diet are mostly anything that has considered meat which makes them carnivores. Each
time that they go and hunt, they aren't as picky on what they eat. Everytime that they go hunting for
their food they hunt for gazelle, impala, and deer. On occasion when they go hunting they go for
monkeys, rodents, and birds.

Amur Leopard
Together with many wild animals of the world today, the Amur leopard is facing the likelihood of
extinction. Their threat is not by means of natural selection or a changing world but by man who has
deliberately or unknowingly depleted their habitat and community. Only mans' intervention and
realization of the problem can hope to save these animals (Garman 1996). According to
Kutscherenko (1995) the wild population of the Amur leopard has dwindled to an estimated 120 to
140 leopards, 30 of which were counted in Russia.
Distribution/Range
The Amur Leopard used to range widely throughout Korea, Manchuria and the Primorskaya Oblast
of the USSR but today due to the carelessness of hunters and the destruction of their habitat and the

A fully–grown male Amur leopard may weigh as much as 100 to 200 pounds with the females
weighing in at approximately 70 to 80 pounds. Leopards from cold mountain regions tend to be
larger than average to accommodate harsh conditions (Vandermey 1996). An average adult leopard
can reach an outstanding 8 feet from head to the tip of the tail. The combined head and body length
can vary from 3 to 6 feet; with the tail averaging 23 to 44 inches. Standing, from feet to shoulder
they can reach a height of 18 to 32 inches, again with the females being a third the size of the males
(Anonymous B 1996). Once thought to be a black panther, some leopards are black all over. Borne
from the same litter as normal leopards the black color is a result of an recessive gene which seems
to appear more often with leopards living in deep forest and mountain regions. These black leopards
still possess the black rosette patterns only they are more difficult to see at a distance (Loxton 1973).
Natural History
Food Habits A leopard will eat almost anything that moves, its diet includes a variety of animals
such as: roe deer, wild boar muck deer, badgers, raccoons, manchurian hares (Anonymous B 1996);
squirrel, muskrat, deer, mink, marmots, steppe antelope, mountain goats, Caucasian deer, monkeys,

Eyes on Tops of Head
While spending most of the day in the water the American Tailed Capybara is easily visible by
predators with most of it's body above water. So with its eyes on top of its head it is able to be
almost fully submerged while keeping very good eyesight to see predators or food.
Long Slim Body
With a very slim frame it has much less water resistance allows to dive and swim with much less
effort and energy. This will give it a lighter mass allowing it to also to move faster land as well
while grazing. If the Hydrochoerus caudatus was slower on land it would make them easy prey for

Panthera Leo Research Paper
Taxonomy
Introduction
The animal kingdom consists of about 800,000 known species (to include those that have been
proven to exist). All animals have multiple cells and therefore rely on the cells of other living or
dead organisms for their sustenance (growth and development). Animals develop from small groups
of unspecialized cells and the animals with simple cells grow their missing body parts through
regeneration. There are 36 phyla in the kingdom Animalia, for instance, Porifera, Annelida,
Mollusca, Arthropoda, Echinodermata and Chordata among others (Dudley, 2002). Panthera leo
The African lion (Panthera leo), is a bold and admired species of the animal kingdom which
commands a lot of respect and fear in equal measure from human beings and wild animals alike. It
belongs to the phylum Chordata, class Mammalia, order Carnivora and family Felidae. African lions

Dimorphic males have dark manes that distinguish them easily from the females. Adult males weigh
up to 200kg while an average females weighs 120kg. The Panthera leo are polygamous and they
breed once every year. Statistics show that male lions are conspicuously large and they use this
advantage to dominate the pride of lions, which they have control over. Pride males form coalitions
in order to increase their chances of deposing an alpha male in another territory. Succession battles
are violent and bloody and may lead to serious injuries or death to the losers. These hostile
takeovers are precipitated by the need to pass individual genes to the next generation of lions
through the siring of cubs. As a result, the incumbent lion often takes unorthodox precautions of
eliminating the genes of the defeated lion through the killing of the suckling cubs of their
predecessors (Grinnel,

The division 's rise in sales and profitability was largely a result of the growing popularity of its

enthusiasts. Unit sales for the Jaguar brand increased by 37 percent between 2013 and 2014."

The Corporate Culture Of Ford And Tata Motor
What really led to the success of the acquisition however, was the contrasting corporate cultures
adopted by JLR under the ownership of Ford and Tata Motor's respectively. Ford emphasized on
role culture and had a deeply ingrained hierarchical structure. It was a bureaucratic set up where
influence and power was correlated to roles and positions. Tasks were assigned based on the
position and there was little room for one to showcase individual talents and abilities. Production
decisions were made by top management and they paid little focus on consumer demand. For
instance, Ford continued to produce big trucks and SUVs when the real demand was for smaller and
cheaper cars. This led to a steep decline in sales. Further, the fact that more importance ... Show

This translated into a profound interest in the working of JLR, both pre and post acquisition. He had
immense respect for the two brands and wanted to continue building the brands on their heritage and
competitiveness, keeping their fundamental identities intact.
Although he did not believe in implementing his way of doing things, he did engage himself in a
manner he deemed suitable. For instance, he made several changes at the top level management of
JLR by bringing in experienced German executives who understood the luxury car market inside
out. On the production side, he was constantly engaged in giving feedback and was especially
involved in the development of the Jaguar F–Type. His primary aim was to support JLR's growth
and not be in control of their operations.
He was convinced from the very beginning that the acquisition of the two brands was a sound
financial decision and it would be profitable in the future, despite contradicting opinions from his
advisors. He ultimately came through for the entity when it was in desperate need of funds by

The Pros And Cons Of Human-Wildlife Conflict
General introduction
According to the IUCN World Park Congress (2003), Human–Wildlife Conflict (HWC) occurs
when wildlife resource requirements overlap with those of human populations, creating costs both to
communities adjacent to protected areas and the wildlife within them. At present the phenomenon
poses a serious challenge to both the human livelihoods and the flora and fauna globally (Berger &
McGraw 2007).
HWC take place in diverse environments and different animal assemblages and countries and this is
increasingly acquiring the attention of ecologist, wildlife biologists, wildlife researchers and wildlife
managers across the globe (Muriuki et al.2017). Even though HWC has an ancient historical
background, its rising harshness and multi–faced nature has made it a great global concern to
wildlife management, this is due to number of factors such as, habitat fragmentation, land use

2016) and as results retaliatory killings of wildlife species intensify( Broekhuis et al. 2017,Mateo–
Tomas et al. 2012), the long term survival of species is at risk. Wildlife population decreases in areas
where there are high human–wildlife interactions, in places such as forests, river bank and grazing
areas adjacent to protected areas (Michalski et al 2006; Sladge et al. 2017). On the other hand this
conflict poses a huge challenge in the sustainability of human livelihoods (Gillingham &Lee 2003;
Rao et al 2002; Sahoo and Mohnot 2004), along with resultant economic loss from crop and
livestock damages ( Mackenzie and Ahabyona 2012; Schön 2013). The management of HWC drains
the affected countries financially (Lamarque et al. 2009), this calls for better strategic management
plans which are publicly acceptable and will not jeopardize wildlife conservation

Car And Motorcycle Shows That Relate To College
The greatest sight is cars and motorcycles, anything from little Hondas to Lamborghinis and also
little Harleys to big fast crotch rockets outside and everywhere around you, also my favorite the

the best at, the car shows and motorcycles meets. The car and motorcycles shows can relate to
college many ways and with the most meaningful part. I would have to say the car and motorcycle
shows/meets because they can relate to college in many ways. One way is because some colleges
sometimes have car shows on campus grounds and lots of people go to them just like many people
go to college, it is also on college grounds. The second thing is that car shows and bike meets is time
to get away from the home work. To also have fun with your friends and to see cool cars and bikes.

vehicles and I do not care about them all cars are the same". With those two quotes you do not find
those kinds of people at car shows just like at college, you do not hear students going around out

Ecotones: The Wolf That Changed America
From the beginning of human civilization to the present wild animals have caused issues in
ecotones. An ecotone is the place where two different types of communities meet. In this paper, I
will be talking about the ecotones of human civilization and wildlife. People that hike and bike trails
in Durango, Colorado often run into animals that are not afraid of people. In this essay the topics
that will be discussed that relate to human and wildlife relationships in an ecotone are, the history of
human–wild animal interaction, problems associated with this interaction, and issues with wild
animals in ecotones. The Wolf That Changed America, released by PBS Nature on November 22,
2008, discussed how in 1892–1893 a bounty hunter named Ernest Thompson Seton, journeyed out
into New Mexico where the lands are untamed. He was hired to kill a dangerous wild animal, a
wolf, named Lobo. Lobo was a legend to the ranchers who ran cattle in the northern part of the state.
The ranchers wanted Lobo gone as he was patrolling the pasture where the cattle ate and ran. Each
day the ranchers noticed that they were losing cattle and they knew which animal was responsible
for this. The ranchers thought they could outsmart Lobo and put out traps where they could catch

Case Study : Jaguar Land Rover
Jaguar Land Rover ("JLR") is a multinational manufacturer of automobiles with complex history
and had struggled in producing quality products in the past (some would argue the struggle
continues). The original design of the flagship automobile was done in 1947 for the Rover
Company, which was taken over by British Leyland Motor Corporation and was incorporated as
Land Rover in 1978. In 2002, Ford Motor Company united Jaguar and Land Rover under one entity,
which is today owned by Tata Motors. The company manufactures automobiles ranging from super–
charged sports coupes to very capable off–road vehicles including military grade models for British
and Australian army.
Southwest Airlines ("SW") is an airline that has focused on customer service. SW was selected
because of the process it has in place for training its employees and support for its customers. The
process in place for hiring and training its employees is one of the most important aspects of SW's
success. Operating since 1971, SW is a bit of a newcomer to the airline industry with their

Essay about Endangered Species Report: Jaguar
Jaguars are part of exclusive group known as the "big cats," which include the lion, tiger, and
panther. The scientific name for this species is Panthera Onca. Panthera is a Greek term originating
from the Latin word for panther while Onca is derived from the Latin word for lynx. Most Central
and South American countries refer to the Jaguar as "el tigre" or the tiger. This is the only big cat
found in the New World (western hemisphere) and the only one in the entire genus. The entire
taxonomy classification is as follows: Kingdom– Animalia, Phylum– Chordata, Class– Mammalia,

Of all of the big cats, the jaguar is the third largest. It resembles the leopard but possesses a more
powerful, sturdy body structure, more robust head, and shorter tail. Its strong and stocky limbs help
make it more adept to do certain activities such as swimming, crawling, and climbing. Many jaguars
have been known to even enjoy swimming from time to time (Defenders). The weights and heights
of jaguars generally depend on the amount of prey available in the habitat and the sex. Most
sexually mature adult jaguars weigh in at a range of 120 – 210 pounds but larger cats have been
found to weigh around 290 – 330 pounds. Their shoulders come up to about 27 – 30 off of the
ground and the length reaches 5 – 6 feet with females usually being 10–20 percent shorter than
males (Save 2). Jaguars are known for their distinct appearance with their tawny–yellow background
color (which fades to white toward the underside) and black rosettes. The larger rosettes usually
occur in the mid–section of the cat which may form black rings. Most of the rosettes are smaller
though and may consist of just one black spot.

Puma Concolor Essay
The stability of Felidae Puma Concolor can only be ensured with the enforcement of legislation
targeted to transform highways and human residences; the fractioning of puma territory in California

Hypothesis: The highways which cut through the great forest and mountain ranges of California are

environmental habitats. Human communities also play a role in Mountain Lion population stunts
because human neighborhoods are ever expanding.

Case Study Of Tata Motors Acquisition Jaguar
Background on Tata Motors Acquiring Jaguar
Tata Motors is India's largest passenger automobile and commercial vehicle established in 1945
Listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2004. TATA Motors is best example that has a number of
Acquisition, subsidiaries, Associate Companies and Strategic Tie–up. One can attribute the
difference in the outcomes to the differences in approaches to acquisition process. TATA employed a
method which is directly opposite to Daimler. The essence of this method lay in respecting the
existing culture rather than imposing a foreign culture. The expansion continues with the
Acquisition of Jaguar Land Rover, the world's most respectable and iconic brands.
The concept of acquisition factor that leads to successful can be understood better with the case of
Tata acquiring Jaguar and Land Rover – Land Deal. The deal basically focuses on the prime sector
of automobile and the reputation of companies at their own segment. Globally, the number and size
of deals is heading toward record levels, with cross–border deals taking centre stage, as companies
take advantage of cheap financing to pursue their expansive acquisition strategies.

The Ferocious Jaguars
Roar, roar, roar, goes the jaguar as it stands tall! After all he is the biggest cat in the Americas and it
is here to stay. This ferocious beast is a carnivore and likes to go for the big prey, it's motto is
probably go big or go home. There is a lot of cats that can't be identified as well, but the jaguars
features are one of a kind. The pregnancy and caring of cubs to jaguars is very interesting, as well as
the reason these creatures are sadly killed in today's society. I will talk about how Mayan people
used to praised the jaguar as a God and where in this blue and green sphere you can locate them.
One of the last things I will talk about is the reason they are lonely and the most famous jaguars that
have roamed the United States. One thing that makes jaguars so unique is their hunting ability. They
aren't afraid to get their prey in water. "Jaguars have the ability to swim and catch their prey."
according to the defenders of wildlife. They also hunt at dark, it's one of their secret weapons! That
is a pretty distinctive way to hunt. A jaguars feature is astonishing. "Their size from head to body is
6 feet. Not including the jaguars tail, which can be 27 to 36 inches long." says the defenders of
wildlife. That is very big standing up. Jaguars have these black spots called rosettes because they
look like roses on their fur. The fur of a jaguar is usually tan or orange, although some jaguar's fur
could be pure black with no rosettes. It is pretty

Panther And Fire Analysis
1. A black 1973 Dodge Charger races down the decrepit crime ridden streets of Fittensburg. The car
parks near the town's bar and a black woman who just goes by the name Panther, steps out. Scars are
illustrated on a face that has been through the meat grinder of numerous battles. Yet, Panther wears
them as if they are her badges of honor. Panther wears a leather jacket with Kevlar built in. Other
people might think that it has seen better days, since sections are sloppily stitched together and
bullet holes punctuate the outfit. The jacket hardly hangs on her shoulders and there is a canyon
sized tear on the left sleeve. But Panther looks at it differently, to her it represent who she is as they

the crime she committed. There are two conflicting aspects of her personality that are waging a

How Jaguar Regains Its Reputation
ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW
Case Study: How Jaguar Regains its Reputation
Jaguar Cars, Ltd., is one of the most famous luxury automobile manufacturers in the world. With its
sleek lines, leather interiors, and smooth engines, Jaguar is the car of choice for wealthy brokers
who work on Wall Street in New York and the nouveau riche in Japan who shop on Tokyo's Ginza.
The driving force behind Jaguar, William Lyons, was born on September 4, 1901, in Blackpool, a
town in the county of Lancashire, England. Uninterested in academics as a teenager, he was on the
verge of entering the shipbuilding industry when his father encouraged him to work at Crossley

assumed total control of all its operations. Although the sidecar business remained lucrative, Lyons
kept careful watch over this portion of the firm, and thought it best to organize its operations as an
entirely separate entity, called the Swallow Coachbuilding Company, in 1935. With the
administrative duties out of the way, and a reorganization of the company complete, Lyons turned
his attention to advertising. He wanted a brand new name for his cars that would capture the
imagination of the motoring enthusiast. The Nelson advertising agency, hired by Lyons to create a
new image for his automobiles, selected the name Jaguar.
The first SS Jaguar 100 was introduced in 1935 and, as the company dropped the SS1 and SS2
product lines, sales for its new unit increased dramatically. The firm's first all–steel car was brought
out in 1937. It featured a broader body, overhead valves, and a choice of 3.5, 2.7, or 1.8 litre
engines. The 3.5–litre model was the company's first car to reach 100 mph. Armed with a work force
of over 1,500 in Coventry, by August of 1938 SS Cars, Ltd. was producing more than 5,000

Characteristics Of The Leopard
The Leopard
Long ago, the leopard and the Ethiopian, his white hunting companion, lived in a place called the
High Veldt. The two dominated this vast grassland, and they were able to hunt and catch any animal
they wished. Their favorite meals consisted of the plain sandy–yellow–brown coated giraffe and
zebra. One sunny day, the giraffe and zebra were hiding from the leopard and Ethiopian within the
shadows of the trees. Mysteriously, jagged shadow–shapes appeared on the fur of the giraffe and the
zebra. The prey became permanently striped and spotted and were so well camouflaged that the
leopard and Ethiopian were now incapable of finding lunch. The two hunters knew they needed to
up their game, so the Ethiopian turned his skin black. The leopard asked his companion to give him
spots so he could blend in, too. The Ethiopian pressed his five fingertips all over the leopard's plain
coat; both of them were now camouflaged just like the giraffe and zebra.
This retelling of Rudyard Kipling's "How the Leopard Got His Spots" is a fanciful fable which
portrays the cunning nature of the leopard. Besides its stealthiness and competitiveness, this spotted
wonder possesses several other traits which display God's originality in creating it. In order to
understand the significance of the leopard, one must understand its physical characteristics and
behavior, unique habitat and hunting strategies, and extreme threats to its existence.

Literary Analysis : ' Dream Like Quality '
Jorge Luis Borges was an Argentine writer who lived between the years of 1899 and 1986. Borges is
known for his short stories that use elements of magic realism to leave the reader wondering about
themselves and the world they live in. Magic realism can be defined as giving the story "dream–like
quality" which is "captured by the presentation of improbable juxtapositions in a style that is highly
objective, precise, and deceptively simple" (Menton 412). Borges used this to his advantage by
taking simple everyday scenarios and adding a twist. In the case of "Dreamtiger," "Inferno, I, 32,"
and "Blue Tiger," it is the element of a big cat. This forces the reader to identify with the
protagonist, and as the narrators in these stories do, the reader themselves goes on to individualize in
their journey to discovering their true "Self".The journey to finding fulfillment is not easy but is
important. Borges makes this evident by challenging the protagonists in his stories, he paints their
journey as a labyrinth. Like a labyrinth the journey has no clear path, and has many possibilities, but
once the center is reached, you find what you were looking for. Borges uses big cats to symbolize
the process of individualization, and the obstacles a person must face in order to discover their true
"Self". It was during the 1920s that Borges first published his works of literature. It was also at this
time that the concept of magic realism was gaining popularity and the works of Carl Jung

Right after I finished, mummies jumped out of the hole of the pyramid. I was too stunned to move,

Reasons For Turnaround Of Jaguar Land Backover: Jaguar...
Reasons for turnaround
At the beginning when Tata acquired Jaguar Land Rover, it was the time when the world entered
into recession. There was a bad sentiment everywhere. Also, JLR being a British brand, the deal was
not very well perceived due to the coming Indian ownership and the fears of outsourcing of jobs,
technology and the brand to India.
But that was 2008 where those perception existed and today Jaguar Land Rover is contributing 50%
of the overall profits of Tata Motors. All the stories and rumors were put to rest when the £400m
engine plant in the Midlands was announced that would potentially create up to 2,000 jobs in
England and not India as feared.

BRAND VALUE
Tata Motors drove past Reliance Industries to top the 2010 edition of India's Most Valuable Brands

brands. Jaguar and land rover both have been part of a larger conglomerate for a long time, however

A leopard will kill its prey with one swift bite to the neck, breaking it. The largest of the leopards is
about five feet in length, with its tail adding another 3 feet and over 200 pounds. It can range from a
dark golden to a light cream color. There are also melanistic coats, which are all black, sometimes
called Black Panthers. All leopards have the dark rosette pattern, spots on their coats, although they
are not visible on the black coats. The males are generally 20 to 40 percent larger than the
females. On average, each liter will produce two cubs, each weighing only one and a half to two
pounds. The cubs remain with their mother for 18 to 24 months. There are over 20 subspecies in the
leopard group and each one is slightly different than the others. They are excellent climbers and can
drag prey that is three times their weight up into a tree to keep it safe from scavengers and other
hunters. They are often found hunting nocturnally, and hiding in the brush during the hot afternoons.
They can hunt in places with nearly no light because of their circular pupil which is capable of vast
dilation. They also have a superb sense of smell and the ability to detect movement.People usually

Jaguar Research Paper
The reason that I chose to do a jaguar is because I thought it would be interesting to find out things
about a jaguar and their family. One thing that I thought was interesting is that the jaguars is one of
the largest cats in America. One thing I knew about this animal before i started my paper is that it
really did not eat a lot of plants. I also knew that the jaguars lived in the wild with the lions and
tigers. Jaguars live in Texas, in the zero Colorado mountains in Arizona. Jaguars are on a diet and
the only thing they eat is meat. But some jaguars live in cold climates (black jaguars), they also live
in warm, dry climate. Jaguars do not stay in the same place they migrate to different places because

Jaguars also use their ears so they will know when someone is coming to try and harm their family
and they also use their ears to listen so they will know when they need to hunt the prey. Besides that
jaguars use their claws to help them catch the prey. Jaguars use their tails to help them keep their
balance while they are running and making sharp turns and for when they need to climb a tree or
something. In addition, jaguars use their mouth to help them catch the prey, and they also use their
mouths to carry around their babies. Something that is special about jaguars is that they are closely
related to the lions, tigers and the leopards. Something else I thought was special about the jaguars is
that the name jaguar really means to kill with one leap. A jaguar cannot always protect itself in its
environment because humans come out hunting for them so they have to keep moving because they
are not safe in the United States. These very loving animals don't harm humans unless they mess

Jaguar Cars company is related to one of the most luxurious automobile manufactures and is on a
high level in contingent upon popularity, which is one of many strengths of the company. They
create a good brand image for themselves and this is the reason why they are well known in a range
of many different countries. Secondly, their workforce is very skilled because they main purpose is
an excellent quality, which they want to construct with every single product. Thirdly, they put many
efforts in research and development to get ready for the future events as well as to provide every
possible latest technology before the competitors.
Nonetheless, each company has their own specific weaknesses. Jaguar Cars corporate has certainly
good products available for customers, but in comparison with other companies, they still have a
lack of range of numbers. They have to increase numbers of their products because otherwise, their
competitors will still dominate the market. Furthermore, there are only a few models created by the
company and some of them were even criticised. That means that they lose the potential clients
because of a narrow range of designed models. In addition Jaguar has issues in the past. Despite the
high quality, there have been few problems with the auto manufacturer, seatbelt problem of the rear

The Florida Panther used to thrive throughout most of southeastern United States, but today, they
are little number of species in southern Florida. The habitat of Florida panthers consists of
pinelands, hardwood hammocks, and swamp terrain. Living in these types of environments, you can
tell that their body types are made to hunt live prey. Their preferences for sources of food are: wild
hogs, deer, rabbits, and when limited resources they will eat raccoons and crocodiles. In the mind of
a panther, their strategy for hunting strategy is single out, stalk, ambush, while rarely chasing their
prey for long periods of time. Florida Panthers are mostly solitary animals, not relying on a pack to
help them hunt or thrive. They use their home range to live, hunt, and raise their young. Males cover
an area of 200 square miles of land, while females range much lesser than the males at 70–80 square
miles. While covering such a vast majority of land, Florida panthers rarely fight over territory

The Highly Adaptable Amur Leopard
The leopard species is mostly associated with the stable conditions in the African savannah however
there is a rare exception living in the harsh winters of eastern Russia. This species goes by the
common names of Amur leopard, Far East leopard, Manchurian leopard or the Korean leopard. The
Amur leopard's scientific name is Panthera pardus orientalis, in the family felidae and one of ten sub
species of leopards. In 2000 the IUCN added the Amur leopard to their Red List of Threatened
Species classifying the subspecies as Critically Endangered, and the CITES has listed it on
Appendix I. This species is down to a population size of roughly thirty adults, making it the most
rare species of big cat in the wild (WWF). Previously the Amur leopard stretched from southeastern
Russia, through Northeast China, and into the Korean peninsula in the 19th century however after
decades of "destruction, poaching, and hunting of its prey, the Amur leopard has been restricted to a
tiny fragment of its former range" (Klappenbach). Due to this unbalance of nature the Amur
Leopard is struggling to survive. In the period between 1970 and 1983 the leopard lost eighty
percent of its habitat range. Today only 20–25 leopards it inhabit a 5,000 km squared area in Russian
Province of Primorsky Krai while only 7–12 are thought to be scattered in areas of northern China.
The Amur leopard, being highly adaptable, can survive a wide range of variability in temperature
and precipitation. This adaptability

The article confirms that given the growth of the MNE, it is important that strategic planning is used
cautiously in order to better the organisations' performance. The article also states that growth of the
firm was managed by disciplined financial plans and this involved tight controls on costs. Correct
staffing arrangements and allowing British executives to be autonomous greatly improved the firms'
success during the testing times of the global
Page 2 financial crisis, which struck just a year after the deal was made. Polycentric policies as
adopted by Tata focus on market driven strategies that build on the firms' competitive advantage: its
reputation. By ensuring local executives remain in charge of their British counterparts, employees
were well informed and experienced in their areas of expertise and as previously mentioned this
ensures efficiency and thus increases and maintains productivity.
A key opportunity expressed in the article was Jaguar Land Rovers interest in the Chinese

previous years China represented only 1% of total sales for Jaguar Land Rover. Nevertheless head
executives project that not only will sales continue to rise, the country will also become the firms

People Think, Communicate, And Behave
Sick Leave "Cultural profoundly influences how people think, communicate, and behave," (Lewicki,
Saunders, & Barry, 2010). This impact is heightened when you involve cultures that are of extreme
opposites in customs and traditions in which the cultures govern themselves upon. The dilemma
between Kelly and Mr. Higashi is an example of two cultures melding together, with different
agendas and expectations. While both parties desire the same outcome from the program in which
they are hired for, their cultural background and the vast difference in experience drives a very
delicate and tense working environment. Conflict arises regarding the work schedule and the
differences that each culture is familiar with regarding their work culture, along with gender equality
concerns. Additionally these conflicts are fueled by the convergence of traditions over laws and the
way in which one culture is raised. In America it is our culture to work a standard 40 hour work
week. Any hours in excess of this are compensated heavily. It is a law that has become our cultural
norm, so much so that when it is expressed that someone is working overtime, it is often met with
empathy. The contract of employee and employer in America is perceived as a mutual contract with
at will to terminate by either party at any time. In Japan, there are no laws that govern a workday;
rather it is their cultural norm to provide their employer with as much of their time as possible, out
of respect and gratitude

they have spots on them that you can't really see so they are similar by that. They are different
looking because according to the World Encyclopedia edition, "All leopards are much alike, but

black coat. This made it very difficult to tell the individual animals apart. However, thanks to a new
imaging technique that was discovered accidentally, the complex spots on black leopards can now
be seen.
The Unintended Discovery
William Laurance (https://research.jcu.edu.au/portfolio/bill.laurance), a researcher at James Cook
University (http://www.jcu.edu.au/) in Australia, says that they somehow managed to accidentally
have the infrared flash that usually only operates at night go off during the day. This created the
perfect situation that let the spots on the black leopards be seen. Though they still can't be seen with
the human eye, this provides an opportunity to learn more about black leopards by studying them
more in–depth.

They are also able to thrive in many different types of habitats. Most leopards have a lighter color of
fur with very distinctive and unique spots peppered all over their bodies. The black leopards from
Malaysia have developed melanism or the development of the skin to a much darker color. This is
the opposite of albinism and, according to Gopalasamy Clements, a co–founder of the Malaysian
jungle conservation called Rimba (http://myrimba.org/), has let black leopards become the "perfect
stalkers." The darker skin hides the spots, and thus allows the animal to hide better in the dark and
dimly–lit Malaysian

Personal Narrative-Heated Tie
An imagery of a heated duel is neatly embroidered upon the back of this armchair. Two opponents
stand a short distance apart from each other in a wide, sandy arena. The entire arena is empty save
for the two wolves sizing each other up. The wolf on the left is female; she stands about five feet,
but grips her longsword with both of her delicate paws like a professional. The handle of her sword
is bound with black leather, the hilt decorated yet understated, with a long, polished steel blade. She
is covered head–to–toe in shiny snow white fur which has been neatly trimmed over her muscles
and curvy frame. Her silky jet–black hair is pulled back into a high ponytail that neatly drapes
behind her back. She is clad in loose black pants that fit her waist with a tie belt and a white button
down blouse. Black leather boots complete her simplistic martial look. Her narrow, deep green eyes
are mostly green slits as she eyeballs the male before her. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Essay On Big Cat Public Safety Act
A woman flees from authorities with her collection of tigers, monkeys, a fox, and a skunk – and her
14–year–old daughter who was living under the same roof as the wild animals.
A California couple, whose escaped pet tiger prowled neighborhoods for weeks before finally being
shot and killed by authorities, quickly packed their things up and fled with the rest of their big cat
collection in tow.
What does these two as well as dozens of other cases all have in common? The people all wind up in
one state, Nevada.
While 45 out of the 50 states that make up America have laws forbidding people from owning exotic
wildlife there are five that have no such rules.
Like Nevada the four other states Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Wisconsin have no
standards nor statewide laws restricting private possession of dangerous wild animals.

The federal government needs to act immediately to protect both the animal and the general public.
The government needs to pass the Big Cat Public Safety Act. It passage will prohibit unqualified
morons from possessing and breeding big cats, bolster weak laws in states that have them, and fill
any gaps in states like Nevada who just lost their damn minds and never passed any legislation on
wildlife ownership..
Until the state takes action, there can only be two outcomes. The Big cat act gets passed or there will
be a massacre in which a loose hungry Tiger, Leopard or Lion escapes from it's backyard pens and
kills a few kids and then the politicians will pass the act as well as passing the blame for not passing

  • 1. Summary Of Stephen Vincent Bent JohnBy The Waters Of Babylon In the story "By the Waters of Babylon" by Stephen Vincent Benét John the main character of the story learns the difference in knowledge and truth. John the son of a priest goes to the east which is forbidden to learn more about the Place of the Gods but the truth is more than John should've known. In John's society the most important people are the priest or the sons of priests and John is a son of a priest him and his father and other priest are allowed to go into the dead places and touch the metals. As John got older he began to have dreams "It was what I have always seen– a river, and, beyond it, a great Dead Place and in it the gods walking." (page 2) this dream caused him to want to began his journey "It is time for me to go on my journey. Give me my leave." (page 2) this quote is john asking his father for permission to go on his journey and find the truth and the knowledge behind his dream. When John began his dream his father touched his breast and his forehead and gave him a bow and three arrows John was also fasting for it was a law and he set off to find out his dream the only problem was he didn't know which way to go so he prayed and purified himself waiting for a sign. His first sign was an eagle flying east but signs can sometimes be misleading so he waited longer his next sign were three deer one of the three was pure white which is "...a very great sign" (page 3) and they were all walking east when all of a sudden came a jaguar and is attached the white ... • 3. The Effects Of Stress On Captive Zoo Animals Introduction. The effects of stress on captive zoo animals has been a major concern among zoologists as well as zookeepers in recent years (Fernandez et al.2009). In previous studies, one of the major factors inducing stress in captive animals that appears to have been overlooked, are the noise levels created by the presence of zoo visitors and the effectiveness of the design of indoor zoo exhibits in reducing the noise levels in particular. While research exists showing that the presence of zoo visitors can be a source of enrichment for captive animals, particularly those who are social by nature, further investigations have indicated that visitor presence can in fact be a source of stress in non–social species including felids (Hosey 2000). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This study will look at the effectiveness of the exhibit design in preventing noise pollution caused by the increased number of visitors to the Milwaukee County Zoo jaguar exhibit. The exhibit which contains both an indoor portion which is designed to resemble the jaguar's native jungle habitat as well as an outdoor portion, currently houses three adult jaguars, Pat, Stella, and Francisco. Both Pat, who is 16 years old and formally a "Problem jaguar" from Belize, and Stella who came to the Milwaukee County Zoo in 2005, live together as a breeding pair (K. Kuhn in conversation). Francisco is the 2–year–old son of Pat and Stella and lives alone (K. Kuhn in conversation). Over the course of six weeks, I will be collecting data using Wensen WS1361C decibel meters which are equipped with data loggers. The decibel meters will be used both inside and outside the jaguar exhibit to determine the effectiveness of the exhibit design. To analyze the zoo visitor effect, as well as the frequency of stress–related behavioral responses observed, data will be collected during on three different days of the week both through observation of the jaguars as well as later analysis of the data recorded by the decibel meters. Data will be collected both on days where zoo visitation is predicted to increase, which are designated as "Family Free Days," where visitors receive free admission as well as "Non–Family Free days" and Thursday afternoons where a decrease in zoo visitation is predicted for observation time totaling a minimum of 15 hours. The recorded data will then be analyzed to determine if the increased noise pollution created by an increase in zoo visitors will correlate with an increase in stress–related behavioral responses by the jaguars. ... • 5. Characteristics Of Leopards And Leopards Leopards The name leopard comes from a Greek word meaning leopardus. Which it's a combination of a lion and a panther. They are also considered as panthers but it just has spots. Leopards look similar to the jaguars but just that the leopards have little spots than the jaguar's spots. These big cats aren't just any other big cats like the lion, jaguars, and tigers, What makes them different than the jaguars is their coat, how they take care of their cubs, and what their diet is. I know leopards are similar like these other big cats but let's just focus on these unique cats. These panthers with spots have a soft fur just like any other mammals. Most of the mammals fur are soft. Leopards and jaguars have the same patterns of fur, such as spot that are black. "The coat of most leopards is light tan with many dense black spots" (page. 202 – 203) says Schlitter. Which the leopards are described in some people eyes when they see them. As in the jaguars their fur have bigger spots and sometimes have little spots inside the spots. The leopards fur camouflages them into the grass that is around them, when they are being sneaky for their meal of the day. A leopard's diet are mostly anything that has considered meat which makes them carnivores. Each time that they go and hunt, they aren't as picky on what they eat. Everytime that they go hunting for their food they hunt for gazelle, impala, and deer. On occasion when they go hunting they go for monkeys, rodents, and birds. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Their threat is not by means of natural selection or a changing world but by man who has deliberately or unknowingly depleted their habitat and community. Only mans' intervention and realization of the problem can hope to save these animals (Garman 1996). According to Kutscherenko (1995) the wild population of the Amur leopard has dwindled to an estimated 120 to 140 leopards, 30 of which were counted in Russia. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A fully–grown male Amur leopard may weigh as much as 100 to 200 pounds with the females weighing in at approximately 70 to 80 pounds. Leopards from cold mountain regions tend to be larger than average to accommodate harsh conditions (Vandermey 1996). An average adult leopard can reach an outstanding 8 feet from head to the tip of the tail. The combined head and body length can vary from 3 to 6 feet; with the tail averaging 23 to 44 inches. Standing, from feet to shoulder they can reach a height of 18 to 32 inches, again with the females being a third the size of the males (Anonymous B 1996). Once thought to be a black panther, some leopards are black all over. Borne from the same litter as normal leopards the black color is a result of an recessive gene which seems to appear more often with leopards living in deep forest and mountain regions. These black leopards still possess the black rosette patterns only they are more difficult to see at a distance (Loxton 1973). Natural History Food Habits A leopard will eat almost anything that moves, its diet includes a variety of animals such as: roe deer, wild boar muck deer, badgers, raccoons, manchurian hares (Anonymous B 1996); squirrel, muskrat, deer, mink, marmots, steppe antelope, mountain goats, Caucasian deer, monkeys, raccoon dog, antelope, gazelle, chamois, dung beetles, antelopes, impala, steenbuck, bushbuck, reedbuck, nyala, klipspringer, waterbuck, zebra ... All animals have multiple cells and therefore rely on the cells of other living or dead organisms for their sustenance (growth and development). Animals develop from small groups of unspecialized cells and the animals with simple cells grow their missing body parts through regeneration. There are 36 phyla in the kingdom Animalia, for instance, Porifera, Annelida, Mollusca, Arthropoda, Echinodermata and Chordata among others (Dudley, 2002). The Corporate Culture Of Ford And Tata Motor What really led to the success of the acquisition however, was the contrasting corporate cultures adopted by JLR under the ownership of Ford and Tata Motor's respectively. Ford emphasized on role culture and had a deeply ingrained hierarchical structure. It was a bureaucratic set up where influence and power was correlated to roles and positions. Tasks were assigned based on the position and there was little room for one to showcase individual talents and abilities. Production decisions were made by top management and they paid little focus on consumer demand. For instance, Ford continued to produce big trucks and SUVs when the real demand was for smaller and cheaper cars. This led to a steep decline in sales. Further, the fact that more importance ... For instance, he made several changes at the top level management of JLR by bringing in experienced German executives who understood the luxury car market inside out. On the production side, he was constantly engaged in giving feedback and was especially involved in the development of the Jaguar F–Type. His primary aim was to support JLR's growth and not be in control of their operations. The Pros And Cons Of Human-Wildlife Conflict General introduction According to the IUCN World Park Congress (2003), Human–Wildlife Conflict (HWC) occurs when wildlife resource requirements overlap with those of human populations, creating costs both to communities adjacent to protected areas and the wildlife within them. At present the phenomenon poses a serious challenge to both the human livelihoods and the flora and fauna globally (Berger & McGraw 2007). HWC take place in diverse environments and different animal assemblages and countries and this is increasingly acquiring the attention of ecologist, wildlife biologists, wildlife researchers and wildlife managers across the globe (Muriuki et al.2017). Car And Motorcycle Shows That Relate To College The greatest sight is cars and motorcycles, anything from little Hondas to Lamborghinis and also little Harleys to big fast crotch rockets outside and everywhere around you, also my favorite the Yamaha R6. Guys and girls revving their loud engines is the best sound ever. That is the place I feel the best at, the car shows and motorcycles meets. The car and motorcycles shows can relate to college many ways and with the most meaningful part. I would have to say the car and motorcycle shows/meets because they can relate to college in many ways. One way is because some colleges sometimes have car shows on campus grounds and lots of people go to them just like many people go to college, it is also on college grounds. The second thing is that car shows and bike meets is time to get away from the home work. To also have fun with your friends and to see cool cars and bikes. That is just like college because you make new friends in college and it is time to get away from your parents for a while, to start your transformation to adult life can what you will do. ... But the people that do not know what they are doing are just like these kind of people that say these thing at car shows. They say "Oh my car is just a car and I do not know anything about it". Or "Cars are just vehicles and I do not care about them all cars are the same". An ecotone is the place where two different types of communities meet. In this paper, I will be talking about the ecotones of human civilization and wildlife. People that hike and bike trails in Durango, Colorado often run into animals that are not afraid of people. In this essay the topics that will be discussed that relate to human and wildlife relationships in an ecotone are, the history of human–wild animal interaction, problems associated with this interaction, and issues with wild animals in ecotones. The Wolf That Changed America, released by PBS Nature on November 22, 2008, discussed how in 1892–1893 a bounty hunter named Ernest Thompson Seton, journeyed out into New Mexico where the lands are untamed. He was hired to kill a dangerous wild animal, a wolf, named Lobo. Lobo was a legend to the ranchers who ran cattle in the northern part of the state. This ferocious beast is a carnivore and likes to go for the big prey, it's motto is probably go big or go home. There is a lot of cats that can't be identified as well, but the jaguars features are one of a kind. The pregnancy and caring of cubs to jaguars is very interesting, as well as the reason these creatures are sadly killed in today's society. I will talk about how Mayan people used to praised the jaguar as a God and where in this blue and green sphere you can locate them. One of the last things I will talk about is the reason they are lonely and the most famous jaguars that have roamed the United States. One thing that makes jaguars so unique is their hunting ability. They aren't afraid to get their prey in water. "Jaguars have the ability to swim and catch their prey." according to the defenders of wildlife. They also hunt at dark, it's one of their secret weapons! That is a pretty distinctive way to hunt. A jaguars feature is astonishing. "Their size from head to body is 6 feet. Not including the jaguars tail, which can be 27 to 36 inches long." says the defenders of wildlife. That is very big standing up. • 41. Characteristics Of The Leopard The Leopard Long ago, the leopard and the Ethiopian, his white hunting companion, lived in a place called the High Veldt. The two dominated this vast grassland, and they were able to hunt and catch any animal they wished. Their favorite meals consisted of the plain sandy–yellow–brown coated giraffe and zebra. One sunny day, the giraffe and zebra were hiding from the leopard and Ethiopian within the shadows of the trees. Mysteriously, jagged shadow–shapes appeared on the fur of the giraffe and the zebra. The prey became permanently striped and spotted and were so well camouflaged that the leopard and Ethiopian were now incapable of finding lunch. The two hunters knew they needed to up their game, so the Ethiopian turned his skin black. The leopard asked his companion to give him spots so he could blend in, too. The Ethiopian pressed his five fingertips all over the leopard's plain coat; both of them were now camouflaged just like the giraffe and zebra. This retelling of Rudyard Kipling's "How the Leopard Got His Spots" is a fanciful fable which portrays the cunning nature of the leopard. Besides its stealthiness and competitiveness, this spotted wonder possesses several other traits which display God's originality in creating it. • 43. Literary Analysis : ' Dream Like Quality ' Jorge Luis Borges was an Argentine writer who lived between the years of 1899 and 1986. Borges is known for his short stories that use elements of magic realism to leave the reader wondering about themselves and the world they live in. Magic realism can be defined as giving the story "dream–like quality" which is "captured by the presentation of improbable juxtapositions in a style that is highly objective, precise, and deceptively simple" (Menton 412). Borges used this to his advantage by taking simple everyday scenarios and adding a twist. In the case of "Dreamtiger," "Inferno, I, 32," and "Blue Tiger," it is the element of a big cat. This forces the reader to identify with the protagonist, and as the narrators in these stories do, the reader themselves goes on to individualize in their journey to discovering their true "Self".The journey to finding fulfillment is not easy but is important. Borges makes this evident by challenging the protagonists in his stories, he paints their journey as a labyrinth. Like a labyrinth the journey has no clear path, and has many possibilities, but once the center is reached, you find what you were looking for. Borges uses big cats to symbolize the process of individualization, and the obstacles a person must face in order to discover their true "Self". It was during the 1920s that Borges first published his works of literature. It was also at this time that the concept of magic realism was gaining popularity and the works of Carl Jung ... • 60. The Highly Adaptable Amur Leopard The leopard species is mostly associated with the stable conditions in the African savannah however there is a rare exception living in the harsh winters of eastern Russia. This species goes by the common names of Amur leopard, Far East leopard, Manchurian leopard or the Korean leopard. The Amur leopard's scientific name is Panthera pardus orientalis, in the family felidae and one of ten sub species of leopards. In 2000 the IUCN added the Amur leopard to their Red List of Threatened Species classifying the subspecies as Critically Endangered, and the CITES has listed it on Appendix I. This species is down to a population size of roughly thirty adults, making it the most rare species of big cat in the wild (WWF). Previously the Amur leopard stretched from southeastern Russia, through Northeast China, and into the Korean peninsula in the 19th century however after decades of "destruction, poaching, and hunting of its prey, the Amur leopard has been restricted to a tiny fragment of its former range" (Klappenbach). Due to this unbalance of nature the Amur Leopard is struggling to survive. In the period between 1970 and 1983 the leopard lost eighty percent of its habitat range. Today only 20–25 leopards it inhabit a 5,000 km squared area in Russian Province of Primorsky Krai while only 7–12 are thought to be scattered in areas of northern China. The Amur leopard, being highly adaptable, can survive a wide range of variability in temperature and precipitation. This adaptability ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The article confirms that given the growth of the MNE, it is important that strategic planning is used cautiously in order to better the organisations' performance. The article also states that growth of the firm was managed by disciplined financial plans and this involved tight controls on costs. Correct staffing arrangements and allowing British executives to be autonomous greatly improved the firms' success during the testing times of the global Page 2 financial crisis, which struck just a year after the deal was made. Polycentric policies as adopted by Tata focus on market driven strategies that build on the firms' competitive advantage: its reputation. By ensuring local executives remain in charge of their British counterparts, employees were well informed and experienced in their areas of expertise and as previously mentioned this ensures efficiency and thus increases and maintains productivity. A key opportunity expressed in the article was Jaguar Land Rovers interest in the Chinese marketplace. Much of the companies new found success was created through Chinese retail sales. • 64. Jaguar: Why Do People Have Power? In 2014, Jaguar North America published "Rendezvous", a car commercial that broadcasted for the Super Bowl XLVIII. It was Jaguar's first Super Bowl TV advertisement. Jaguar chose Tom Hooper as director, who is a British film and television director. The commercial features Tom Hiddleston, Sir Ben Kingsley and Mark Strong. Essentially, the commercial, introduces the new car they made (Jaguar F–TYPE Coupe). The Jaguar Company tried to address the people, who feel like they need a powerful and nice car to look good like British villains. Also, in the advertisement British people are celebrated as powerful, dominant, respected people and also as villains. In this essay I will discuss about why do people want power and why is it related with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For example the phrase "we are obsessed by power" that was used in the advertisement is trying to send the "the new car will have a powerful engine" message to the audience. At the beginning of the commercial Mark Strong drives the car aggressively, but at the same time very smoothly on the London streets. Giving the audience a view of how easy it is to drive a new Jaguar. While he drives on the street, he goes at the same speed as Tom Hiddleston. However, Hiddleston sits in a helicopter but at the end Jaguar arrives few seconds before the helicopter. The director wants to show how fast Jaguar goes. There is no doubt that car goes fast. However, the ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) is not a fan of the car ad. What I mean is, the ASA launched an investigation and ultimately decided to ban one of the F–type ad for its focus on high–speed driving. ASA said that, the overall impression of the adverts was a focus on the speed and acceleration of the cars, which I believe is true. Therefore, the ASA warned the Jaguar Company for not to portray speed or driving behavior that might encourage motorists to drive irresponsibly in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 66. People Think, Communicate, And Behave Sick Leave "Cultural profoundly influences how people think, communicate, and behave," (Lewicki, Saunders, & Barry, 2010). This impact is heightened when you involve cultures that are of extreme opposites in customs and traditions in which the cultures govern themselves upon. The dilemma between Kelly and Mr. Higashi is an example of two cultures melding together, with different agendas and expectations. While both parties desire the same outcome from the program in which they are hired for, their cultural background and the vast difference in experience drives a very delicate and tense working environment. Conflict arises regarding the work schedule and the differences that each culture is familiar with regarding their work culture, along with gender equality concerns. Additionally these conflicts are fueled by the convergence of traditions over laws and the way in which one culture is raised. In America it is our culture to work a standard 40 hour work week. Any hours in excess of this are compensated heavily. It is a law that has become our cultural norm, so much so that when it is expressed that someone is working overtime, it is often met with empathy. The contract of employee and employer in America is perceived as a mutual contract with at will to terminate by either party at any time. In Japan, there are no laws that govern a workday; rather it is their cultural norm to provide their employer with as much of their time as possible, out of respect and gratitude ... • 74. The Stealth Evolution Of Black Leopards Up until this point in time, scientists and researchers assumed that black leopards all shared a sleek black coat. This made it very difficult to tell the individual animals apart. However, thanks to a new imaging technique that was discovered accidentally, the complex spots on black leopards can now be seen. The Unintended Discovery William Laurance (https://research.jcu.edu.au/portfolio/bill.laurance), a researcher at James Cook University (http://www.jcu.edu.au/) in Australia, says that they somehow managed to accidentally have the infrared flash that usually only operates at night go off during the day. This created the perfect situation that let the spots on the black leopards be seen. Essay On Big Cat Public Safety Act A woman flees from authorities with her collection of tigers, monkeys, a fox, and a skunk – and her 14–year–old daughter who was living under the same roof as the wild animals. While 45 out of the 50 states that make up America have laws forbidding people from owning exotic wildlife there are five that have no such rules.
