Lindsay Hodges lives in Paulding County, Georgia with her two young children. She has been teaching for nine years in Paulding County, where she attended school. Currently, she teaches 8th grade advanced language arts. Hodges is pursuing her master's degree in accomplished teaching and is taking this course as an elective to earn her degree. She is excited to learn new classroom strategies.

3. About me I live in Paulding county, Ga. I have two children, 6 and 2, who keep me very busy. I enjoy reading, seeing movies, and scrapbooking when I have the time.

4. Teaching Experience I have just begun my 9th year teaching. I have been in Paulding County (where I went to school as a student) my entire career. I currently teach 8th grade advanced content language arts, but I have taught 5th, 7th, and 8th grade language arts and social studies before. I have a gifted endorsement and love the challenge that gifted/advanced students pose every day.

5. My Professional Goals I am enrolled in this course as an elective for my masters degree in accomplished teaching. I have wanted to earn my masters degree for a long time now, but since having two small children the timing has not been right until now. I am excited about this course and learning many new strategies for my classroom.
