1) A professor assigns unusual homework over the Christmas break - to make someone happy without expecting anything in return. 2) The next day, the author assigns the same homework to their students, who react with smiles after initial stress about vacation work. 3) After the break, students proudly share simple stories with their teacher about bringing joy to others, showing the power of encouraging kindness.

1. Learners with Purest Hearts

2. On the 19th of december 2018, while I was in
class at the university, I remember we all
stressed out when the Dr. decided to assign a
homework for the Christmas/New Year's
vacation.
But, after few seconds, it all changed to smiles
and silence after listening the following: "Your
homework for the vacation is to make someone
happy, without expecting anything in return"

3. The next day, by the end of the period in one of
the classes, I thought of giving this homework to
my students... I saw the same expressions we
had the day before.
"Your education is highly important, but the most
important thing is to be humans with pure
hearts." Using this sentence, I ended my class.

4. □ I left the class with peaceful feelings and
thoughts of how can few words and simple
actions change our students' way of thinking in
accepting, loving, and caring for each
other...The most touching part was during the
first period after the vacation, where I've heard
different simple experiences from these little
learners that shared their stories with excitement
and pride.
