                REFLEXION ENGLISH CLASS



The class began in the exact hour; the teacher was very
punctual; the topic was about occupations. Teacher asked
to students what you would like to be when they grown up,
they answered rapidity some students answered lawyer,
secretary, doctor, pilot, teacher and engineer this made
that students have interest in the class.



Then in the presentation teacher showed students some
flashcards in the board, about occupations those was
teacher, police man, soldier, singer, lawyer, painter,
doctor, chef, baker and gardener; teacher showed it and
taught the correct pronunciation and writing of this
occupations. Then teacher showed a video about
occupations.



Then for practicing teacher put some letter in the desk and
request to students to came at the board and take the
letters for completing the occupation’s name; students
participated in the activity looking for the name in the
desk. Then teacher gave to students a word search about
all vocabulary learnt in the class, students completed the
word search and asked to teacher about doubts.
For finishing teacher asked to students about the new
occupations what they learnt and they answered.

I can observed that students was motivated when teacher
asked to them about their life because teacher obtained
the student´s interest when he made personal questions to
they, their opinions was took into account these actions
are part of the teacher´s affective strategies , this
strategies help learners to regulate their emotions,
motivations and attitudes toward learning . The class was
dynamic because teacher used colorful posters, games
and word search, this made that they paid attention and
their learning was better.

Affective strategies have influence in language learning, in
order that teacher have successful in their teaching, th ey
should use affective strategies thus the knowledge will
improve.



 During the teaching is important that teacher develop the
four skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) which
are important when someone has learning a new
language, in this class the teacher used only three skills
(speaking, listening and writing).



Teacher used the technology when he used a video in the
computer for students; students liked it because the music
was appropriate for their level they sang the song in
animated way. Some cases students did not put attention
but teacher called the attention to them. Students respond
well when the teacher shows a personal enthusiasm.
Students appreciated speaking of their personal anecdotes
and they bring their own experiences about that they
enjoy.
During the class teacher show equal treatment for all
students because all students had the same rights,
obligations and opportunities and opportunities for
communicating their opinions, regardless of gender, ethnic
or religious affiliation or sexual orientation.

 The classroom managed was good; students had respect
for the class and for their classmate´s opinions. The
poster was colorful students like worked with things full of
colors

  • 1. Name: Sandra Liliana Rodríguez Ocampo Teacher: Ulises Córdoba Seminary University of Amazonia REFLEXION ENGLISH CLASS The class began in the exact hour; the teacher was very punctual; the topic was about occupations. Teacher asked to students what you would like to be when they grown up, they answered rapidity some students answered lawyer, secretary, doctor, pilot, teacher and engineer this made that students have interest in the class. Then in the presentation teacher showed students some flashcards in the board, about occupations those was teacher, police man, soldier, singer, lawyer, painter, doctor, chef, baker and gardener; teacher showed it and taught the correct pronunciation and writing of this occupations. Then teacher showed a video about occupations. Then for practicing teacher put some letter in the desk and request to students to came at the board and take the letters for completing the occupation’s name; students participated in the activity looking for the name in the desk. Then teacher gave to students a word search about all vocabulary learnt in the class, students completed the word search and asked to teacher about doubts.
  • 2. For finishing teacher asked to students about the new occupations what they learnt and they answered. I can observed that students was motivated when teacher asked to them about their life because teacher obtained the student´s interest when he made personal questions to they, their opinions was took into account these actions are part of the teacher´s affective strategies , this strategies help learners to regulate their emotions, motivations and attitudes toward learning . The class was dynamic because teacher used colorful posters, games and word search, this made that they paid attention and their learning was better. Affective strategies have influence in language learning, in order that teacher have successful in their teaching, th ey should use affective strategies thus the knowledge will improve. During the teaching is important that teacher develop the four skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) which are important when someone has learning a new language, in this class the teacher used only three skills (speaking, listening and writing). Teacher used the technology when he used a video in the computer for students; students liked it because the music was appropriate for their level they sang the song in animated way. Some cases students did not put attention but teacher called the attention to them. Students respond well when the teacher shows a personal enthusiasm. Students appreciated speaking of their personal anecdotes and they bring their own experiences about that they enjoy.
  • 3. During the class teacher show equal treatment for all students because all students had the same rights, obligations and opportunities and opportunities for communicating their opinions, regardless of gender, ethnic or religious affiliation or sexual orientation. The classroom managed was good; students had respect for the class and for their classmate´s opinions. The poster was colorful students like worked with things full of colors
