1. -classroomis incredibly diverse
-was able to silence her students and regain their attention after break quickly and effectively
-No lazy time between break and re-entering the classroom, post lunch break = 0 volume for
the students
-Classroomis very responsive, when she talks, they listen, and that is because since day 1 she
showed that she was in charge and any behavioral outburst would be met with a punishment
- “If you can hear my voice snap once, if you can hear my voice snap twice.” Effective method to
get students to focus.
-students are grouped into tables of four, each table has a letter, and each group has a number
1-4, tasks/duties of 1-4 are divided amongst them and swapped
-Moved on to a final draft of a paper that they started during the first week of school (first day)
-Technology is used well throughout the classroom
- Jars at the middle of all the students desks, and marbles are placed into them for good
behavior. (presumably for some kind of reward at the end of semester/ some end period?)
