3. Lakeland School District is
ranked the #1 district in the state
of Idaho by NICHE.

4. On April 16, 2014 every junior across
the state took the SAT. The results
as reported by the CdA Press were:
• Lakeland ~ 1434
• Coeur d’Alene ~ 1420
• Post Falls ~ 1406

5. Playing for all the right reasons

6. Safety continues to be a top
priority for our district. All 6
elementary schools now have
controlled access at their front
doors and secondary schools
have upgraded security
cameras.

7. Recommendations from the
committee will go to the board
in April. Materials will be on
display at the D.O. for your
perusal following the board
meeting.

The committee included: business owners,
local government officials, parents, students,
support staff, teachers, and administrators.

10. Changes will target a more equitable
distribution of our students across the
district which will allow for more
equitable access to learning
opportunities for students.

11. ISAT testing will begin following
spring break. The district will
receive student scores from this
assessment which will help guide
our curriculum work and
instruction for next year.
