5. On April 16, 2014 every junior across the
state took the SAT. The results as reported
by the CdA Press were:
• Lakeland ~ 1434
• Coeur d’Alene ~ 1420
• Post Falls ~ 1406
6. New safety measures are being
implemented this week in 5 of
our elementary schools. BKE
piloted the measures last spring
and is already operational.
7. A new math textbook will be
adopted for the 2014-15
school year.
8. STRIVE teacher, Laura Spurway, actively
seeking grants to fund this STEM
classroom that will be available to all
students.

administrators.
11. ISATs will be administered Spring 2015.
The district will receive data from this
assessment which will help guide our
curricular work and instruction for the
