Characters- Ugly Sisters We based our characters of the two ugly sisters on characters from other films . We wanted them to have the same attitude and role in the film as they have in the film, as the ‘bitchy’ and ‘popular’ stereotype. We want them to feel like they have to be liked, meaning that they create the illusion of desperation to be popular. We want them to be dumb and airheaded. These images are from the films we have looked at in our research. A Cinderella Story, Wild Child and Mean Girls. They are the same genre and have the same audience that we are aiming to achieve.
Characters- Prince Charming Our character of Prince Charming is based on the characters who play the role of the ‘Hunk’ and ‘Heart throb’ in other films. We want him to have a heroic and romantic role within the film, to be a modern day Prince Charming to our Cinderella. So we used these examples from recent films to help within our research.
