Cave scene
Lighting
In the the cave scene there are four different types
of lighting there is the use of night vision, a lighter,
the lights on their helmets and the flare that Juno
sets off in desperation to light up the cave too see
the crawlers and so she and her friends can live
but what we got from this is that all the lights they
use are to escape the darkness that is coming to
get them.
Location
The girls are trapped in a cave with
an unknown creature and come
across where they feed on the
animals they capture and eat but
they are unaware of their
whereabouts and result to using
night vision to navigate their way
around the cave and try to escape
without getting trapped and eaten
alive. Also they are in a real cave
with only six paths and the director
was able to change them around so
it looked like they kept finding
different paths and getting even
deeper into the cave
Costume  In the descent the crawlers are
just men with prosthetics to make
them look like this unknown
creature that hunts with sound
and will eat anything it can sink its
teeth into, also when they kill one
of the creatures they would of had
a professional makeup artist to do
the cuts and the wounds they
received.
Props
 The scene where the girls find
all the animal bones where
most likely made with them
being set in a cast to get the
shape they wanted to make
the best affect to the
audience and someone with
high skills would have made
and painted them.
Movement
 Movement in the descent was most
likely the most looked at when it came
to movement the crawlers would have
been training for awhile to get their
movement right and too actually look
and act like this creature that has not
yet been discovered by anyone
because of the danger they bring with
them the movement is also key as
they get further into the cave the more
danger so the girls will be running and
the crawlers will be running to catch
and kill them to is the movement was
of it could have been very off and
untimed.
