This Doctoral Research Colloquium aims to discuss, reflect on, and further develop submitted
papers or research proposals in an informal setting. You will be introduced to a variety of per-
spectives that can help strengthen and shaping your work as you progress towards your PhD
degree, as well as to build a network of peers for your career. We warmly invite doctoral stu-
dents to submit their work, which can be at any stage of the research process (proposal, middle
stages, or near completion). Contributions from all application areas and topics, directly or
indirectly related to a variety of themes are welcomed.
Objectives of the Doctoral Research Colloquium
 Participants who successfully complete the Colloquium will be able to
