How are they helpful? Interactive for students FUN! More flexibility Expand on typical “norms” Student centered
Choice  Allowing students to choose provides them with intrinsic motivation. Students are motivated to learn about topics that are of interest to them. ,[object Object]
Give students the freedom to choose their own topics

This provides students with self efficacy and sustains their motivation.
