Srbac is located at the mouth of Vrbas in Sava. The area of the municipality of Srbac is 453 km² and includes 39 settlements
with about 17 000 inhabitants. Several companies established with foreign capital operate in the municipality of Srbac. In addi-
tion, several domestic companies have companies from Italy and Germany as strategic partners. The most important investment
potentials of the municipality of Srbac are:
• Agriculture, healthy food
• Biogas plants (renewable energy sources - biomass from agriculture and forestry)
• Woodworking
• Kaolin mine "Motajica"
• Industrial-business zones "Crnaja" and "Sitneši"

3. Srbac je smješten na ušću Vrbasa u Savu. Površina opštine Srbac iznosi 453 km² i obuhvata 39 naselja u kojima živi oko 17.000
stanovnika. Na području opštine Srbac posluje više preduzeća osnovanih stranim kapitalom. Pored njih, nekoliko domaćih pre-
duzeća za strateške partnere imaju preduzeća iz Italije i Njemačke. Najznačajniji investicioni potencijali opštine Srbac su:
• Poljoprivreda, zdrava hrana
• Biogasna postrojenja (obnovljivi izvori energije - biomasa iz poljoprivrede i šumarstva)

4. ■■AGRO BUSINESS*
The Municipality of Srbac is a highly agricultural area, with a
long tradition of agricultural production. Of the total area of 45
250 hectares, arable land occupies as much as 49%.
Agriculture is the basic economic branch in the rural areas of
Srbac. The largest agricultural areas are grain production (67%
of the area), industrial and fodder plants (25% of the area) and
vegetables (8% of the area). Recently, there is a tendency to
intensify crop production through the installation of irrigation
systems.
Great opportunities for development relate to the con-
struction of greenhouses for the production of vegeta-
bles and planting material. Currently, there are about 65
ha under greenhouses in Srbac.
The municipality of Srbac has its own tradition and recognition
in fruit production. Climatic and soil conditions enable intensive
fruit production. In addition to the classical fruit species (apple,
pear, plum), there is a growing interest in raising the plantations
of berries (blueberries, aronia, raspberries and blackberries)
and nuts (hazelnut and walnut).
Development opportunities are evident in the field of
production of bone fruits (plums), through the associa-
tion of producers, and then the construction of refriger-
ators for these fruit species.
Bearing in mind the quality of the land and its availability, the
long tradition, agriculture continues to be one of the activities
on which a great number of citizens of Srbac will lean. It is an-
ticipated that crop, livestock and poultry farming will continue
to be significant sources of income for the rural population. In
the future, corn and wheat production is expected to dominate
the municipality, as two main types of grain. The produced
quantities of maize will be in the function of livestock develop-
ment, and the areas under wheat will dependon its purchase
price and the price of raw materials. With regard to further
expansion of fruit growing, the municipality, through incentive
instruments and organised support, should put a special focus
on the construction of a refrigerator for the storage of hollow
and bone fruits and tunnels for freezing berry fruit within the
same refrigerator, which can further strengthen local produc-
tion value chains.

5. ■■AGRO BIZNIS*
Oština Srbac je izrazito poljoprivredno područje, sa dugom
tradicijom poljoprivredne proizvodnje. Od ukupne površine od
45.250 hektara, obradive površine zauzimaju čak 49%.
Poljoprivreda je osnovna privredna grana u ruralnim područji-
ma Srpca. Najveće poljoprivredne površine zauzima ratarska
proizvodnja i to žitarice (67% površine), industrijsko i krmno
bilje (25% površine), te povrće (8% površine). U zadnje vrijeme
primjetna je tendencija intenziviranja ratarske proizvodnje kroz
instaliranje sistema za navodnjavanje.
Velike mogućnosti za razvoj se odnose na izgradnju-
plastenika za proizvodnju povrća i sadnog materijala.
Trenutno se u Srpcu nalazi oko 65 ha pod plastenicima.
Srbačka opština ima i svoju tradiciju i prepoznatljivost u
voćarskoj proizvodnji. Klimatski i zemljišni uslovu omoguća-
vaju intenzivnu proizvodnju voća. Osim klasičnih voćnih vrsta
(jabuka, kruška, šljiva) sve je veće interesovanje za podizanje
zasada bobičastog voća (borovnica, aronija, malina i kupina) i
jezgričavog voća (lješnik i orah).
Prilike za razvoj su evidentne u oblasti proizvodnje
koštičavog voća (šljive) i to kroz udruživanje proiz-
vođača, a nakon toga i izgradnju hladnjača za ove voćne
vrste.
Imajući u vidu kvalitet zemljišta i njegovu raspoloživost, te du-
gogodišnju tradiciju, poljoprivreda i dalje predstavlja jednu od
djelatnosti na koju će se naslanjati veliki broj građana Srpca.
Predviđa se da će ratarstvo, povrtlarstvo i živinarstvo i dalje biti
značajni izvori prihoda ruralnog stanovništva. U budućnosti se
očekuje da će na području opštine dominirati proizvodnja kuku-
ruza i pšenice, kao dvije osnovne vrste žita. Proizvedene ko-
ličine kukuruza će biti u funkciji razvoja stočarstva, a površine
pod pšenicom će zavisti od njene otkupne cijene i cijena repro-
materijala. U pogledu daljeg širenja voćarstva, opština, putem
podsticajnih instrumenata i organizovane podrške, bi trebala
poseban fokus usmjeriti na izgradnju hladnjače za skladištenje
jabučastog i koštičavog voća i tunela za smrzavanje jagodas-
to-bobičastog voća u sklopu iste hladnjače, čime se dalje mogu
jačati lokalni proizvodni lanci vrijednosti.

8. Currently, two partially regulated business zones SITNEŠI and CRNAJA are active in the municipality.
Communal infrastructure to the zones Crnaja and Sitneši and in the zones has been built to a certain extent, but it is expected that
a total of ten investments could be achieved by equipping the zones, with the focus on attracting investments in the manufacturing
industry.
In relation to the attracting investments, incentive measures for the purchase of land in business zones are being implemented.
The measures are reflected in the reduction in the price of land, which in these zones at market prices is around 6 BAM/m², and
it is reduced by 90%, so it is also offered in the public bidding procedure at an initial price of 0.70 BAM/m². In addition to this
stimulating measure, the municipality of Srbac continues to offer reduction of short-term rent, which in the business zones is 12
BAM/m², and it is reduced by 66% and amounts to 4.0 BAM/m² for a newly built object larger than 500 m² in its grounds.

9. Trenutno su na području opštine aktivne dvije djelimično uređene poslovne zone SITNEŠI i CRNAJA.
Komunalna infrastruktura do zona Crnaja i Sitneši i u zonama je u određenoj mjeri izgrađena, ali se očekuje da bi opremanjem
zona moglo da bude ostvareno ukupno deset investicija, pri čemu će fokus biti na privlačenju investicija u prerađivačku industriju.
U vezi sa privlačenjem investicija, provode se podsticajne mjere za kupovinu zemljišta u poslovnim zonama. Mjere se ogledaju u
smanjenju cijene zemljišta, koja se u ovim zonama po tržišnim cijenama kreće oko 6 KM/m², a umanjuje se za 90%, tako da se
isto nudi u postupku javne licitacije po početnoj cijeni od 0,70 KM/m². Pored ove stimulativne mjere, opština Srbac i dalje nudi
umanjenje jednokratne rente koja u poslovnim zonama iznosi 12 KM/m², a umanjuje se za 66% i iznosi 4,0 KM/m² novoizgrađenog
objekta većeg od 500 m² u osnovi.

PZ Kooperativni centar d.o.o. planira u narednom periodu pripremiti se i za izgradnju novih sušara i silosa.

Basic productsof the company KRUŠKA – DK d.o.o. are apples and pears. For over three decades this family-owned enterprise
has been engaged in the cultivation of fruit with continuous investment in the extension of orchard areas.Today, the Kasagić family
grows apples on 11 hectares (Golden Delicious - Reinders, Granny Smith, Idared, Jonagold, Pinova and Topaz) and pears on 6 ha
(Williams, Santa Maria, Abbe Fetel, Packham's Triumph).
■■ DEVELOPMENT GOALS
The increase in production is the basic commitment of the company Kruška-DK. When expanding the areas where pears and
apples are grown, there is a careful selection of culture in line with market requirements while simultaneously applying the latest
technologies in production.
In the coming period, Kruška-DK will also deal with increasing storage capacities, refrigerators and packaging for long-term
storage of fruit.

01.24 Gajenje jezgričastog i koštunjavog voća
■■ OSNOVNI PROIZVODI
Osnovni proizvodi preduzeća KRUŠKA – DK d.o.o. su jabuke
i kruške. Ovo porodično preduzeće se već više od tri deceni-
je bavi uzgojem voća uz stalno ulaganje u proširenje površi-
na voćnjaka. Danas, porodica Kasagić na 11 ha uzgaja jabuke
(Zlatni delišes - Reinders, Granny Smith, Idared, Jonagold, Pi-
nova i Topaz), a na 6 ha kruške (Williams, Santa Maria, Abbe-
Fetel,Packham'sTriumph).
■■ RAZVOJNI CILJEVI
Povećanje proizvodnje je osnovno opredjeljenje privrednog
društva Kruška-DK. Pri proširenju površina na kojima se uzgaja-
ju kruške i jabuke pažljivo se vrši izbor kulture u skladu sa zaht-
jevima tržišta dok se istovremeno primjenjuju najsavremenije
tehnologije u proizvodnji.
U narednom periodu, Kruška-DK će se baviti i pitanjem pov-
ećanja skladišnih kapaciteta, hladnjača i ambalaže za dugoroč-
no skladištenje voća.
