There is a railway station in the city.
Railroad passenger services are performed
in the direction “Enerhodar-Zaporizhzhia 1” twice a day.
The closest airport is located in the north-east part of the
city of Zaporizhzhia – the Zaporizhzhia International Airport
that provides services to all types of aircrafts. Direct flights
are performed to Minsk, Antalya, Istanbul, Warsaw, Sham
El-Sheikh, Dalaman, Batumi, Burgas, and Tel Aviv. The
Zaporizhzhia International Airport sends daily flights to Kiev,
from where flights to many countries are operated.

ENERHODARis the city with mono-functional
economy – the dynamics of social and economic
development and a level of the budget revenues
depend on stable operation of two energy
enterprises – Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant
and Zaporizhzhia Heat Power Plant.
The key type of products produced and sold by
the largest employers is electric energy.
The operation of energy complex of Enerhodar
is an important conditions of energy stability not
only of the region but on a nationwide scale.

Principal activity – electric energy production. Zaporizhzhia nuclear power
plant is the largest producer of electric energy among the Ukrainian
nuclear plants and the most powerful nuclear station in Europe.
Employment size – 11 168 persons (63,2% of the total number of fulltime
employees of the city in 2019).
The payments, made by Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, amount to 2/3
of revenues of the general fund of the city’s budget, excluding transfers.
Principal activity – the production of elements of the pipelines and
nonstandard equipment for nuclear and heat power plants, production
of construction metal constructions, metal doors and windows, metal
containers, reservoirs; repair and technical maintenance of vehicles
and industrial machinery.

The level of medical services and the access to health
care in the city of Enerhodar is one of the factors
creating a positive investment environment.

COMMUNAL
INFRASTRUCTURE
Today there are 8 public utility
companies in the city that
provide the following services:
water supply and disposal
centralized heat supply
removal of domestic waste
and refuse
maintenance and operation
of a solid domestic waste
landfill
beautification
other specialized services.
Starting from the year 2018, the city has been imple-
menting a large-scale project of reconstruction of the
road infrastructure – almost 44% of the road has been
reconstructed within the city’s limits. The sources of
financing are the following:

INCUBATOR were established as a part of the Enerhodar
Institute of Public and Municipal Administration named after
R.H. Khenokha “Classic Private University”
It is expected to establish a BUSINESS CENTER and
AN INDUSTRIAL PARK for the expansion of production
and comprehensive business support in the city

From the beginning of participation in the project (from 2015) the following
have been done:
The Strategic plan of development of Enerhodar until 2027 and the
program of development of small and medium businesses developed;
Express analysis of the local business climate performed;
Projects implemented:
- “The improvement of the level of competence of active and prospective
business entities for business diversification in Enerhodar”;
- “Creation of Enerhodar’s positive image as an investment-attractive city”.
In 2H2020 the implementation of two new projects “Youth business
consulting center” and “The workshop of talents” dealing with business
development and diversification of the city’s economy are expected to be
implemented.
In 2010, the city and DTEK LLC signed a declaration of social partnership.
According to the cooperation, the equipment for the hospital, computer
equipment and furniture for the school have been purchased as well as the
measures for urban beautification and energy preservation have been taken.
In 2013, a tradition of holding a competition of mini-projects “The community
with its own hands” was established. During that time, 68 projects for
improvement of the quality of education, urban beautification and energy
preservation have been implemented.
Due to the cooperation with the Polish-
Ukrainian Cooperation Foundation (PAUC),
the city introduced the Public Budget.
Due to the implementation of the projects,
2 murals appeared in the city, sports
grounds were constructed and energy-
efficient street lighting was established.
Before the end of the year, it is expected
to construct new modern sports and art
places, to take energy saving measures
fin the buildings, as well as to introduce a
system of underground waste collection,
classification and storage.
In 2019, the Joint Office, Administration Service Centre of Enerhodar City
Council was chosen for participation in the program “U-LEAD with Europe”.
Accordingtotheprogram,itisexpectedtogetinstitutionalandmethodological
support, furniture, computer equipment and for the issuance of passport. The
project is expected to be implemented in 2H2020.

NEW CONSTRUCTION
CONSTRUCTION
OF A SOLAR ELECTRIC PLANT
“SONECHKO-1”.
According to the project, it is expected to install 5K solar
panels in the territory of 37ha. The expected power capacity
is 13.2MWth; the expected volume of energy production is
16 705 MWth. In 2019 the pre-construction activities were
initiated and the expected start-up date is December 2021.
ESTABLISHMENT OF SCIENCE PARKS – SUSTAINABLE
PROCESSING CENTERS (DATA CENTERS) WITHIN THE
TERRITORY SURROUNDINGTHE NUCLEAR POWER PLANT,
that enable to raise private investments, to create new jobs and to increase the
revenues of the state and local budgets. The city will receive an impetus for
development and introduction of new technologies of the most powerful processing
complexes. At the moment the project is at the stage of planning (economic and
technological feasibility).

Our city is being constantly developed.

RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX ‘PRESTIGE”
Description: a 10-storey residential complex consisting
of 3 sections with commercial premises on the 1st
