1. Latin America Project
You will be given four opportunities to complete this project. You may choose
from one of the following: Power Point, Poster Board, Three typed-page paper,
or a Diorama.
Once you decide on which project you want to complete, select one of the
following countries: Haiti, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, and Venezuela.
Next, you may start your research ASAP. You may use any and all the following
resources: Library books,(both public and school), magazines, newspaper, CRCT
book, or internet.
Power Point: It should be at least 10 slides in length not counting an introductory
slideor a concluding slide. You need to have the following in your presentation:
You need to give the Location,Climate, and Natural Resources. Longitude and
Latitude would also be a good source of information for the countries location.
The country’s Government and the Leader’s name. Also, you need to explain
thecountries Trade, listing some important facts about their trade.Name the
major Religion or Religions, Area and Population, Money and Language. You will
also need to give a shortHistory of the country’s beginning with an important
factor factsabout your country today.
You mayadd pictures, charts, graphs, or maps to make your project more
interesting.
POSTER BOARD: You may make a Poster, but it must have the above information
on the Poster.
Three-Page paper: You will need to type your paper using the Calibri font with
size 14. Make sure the above information is also included in your paper.
Diorama: You may make a Diorama, but it must be accompanied with a paperor
index cards. You may use 4X6 or 5X8 cards. The above information also must be
on the cards and presented orally to the class. NOTE: ALL Projects will be
presented to the class.
