4. EWRT 2 Library Task
• Directions: Find an example of each of the source types
listed below. For each source, your team needs a works
cited entry. Compile these to make a Works Cited page. You
must post an electronic copy of the Works Cited page on
the HW post before you leave in order to earn
participation points. 20 Points will be distributed to each
person on each team that properly completes the task. Be
prepared to show me your formatted works cited page
before you post it.

6. Here is an overview of the process:
When deciding how to cite your source, start by consulting the list of core elements.
These are the general pieces of information that MLA suggests including in each Works
Cited entry. In your citation, the elements should be listed in the following order:
Author.
Title of source.
Title of container,
Other contributors,
Version,
Number,
Publisher,
Publication date,
Location.
Date of Access, if applicable.
Each element should be followed by the punctuation mark shown here. Earlier
editions of the handbook included the place of publication, and required punctuation
such as journal editions in parentheses, and colons after issue numbers. In the current
version, punctuation is simpler (just commas and periods separate the elements), and
information about the source is kept to the basics.
