services that continue to remain inaccessible and unaffordable. Working alongside physicians, I was able to expand our dental clinic, and introduced

For my key informant interview I chose to contact the Outpatient Diabetic Education Department at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas,
Texas. The reason I chose Texas Health Presbyterian is that it belongs to the most extensive hospital network in North Texas. Texas Health Resources
has over 25 acute care, transitional, rehabilitation and short–stay hospitals and employs over 23,000 people. The largest hospital in the network is

During the windshield assessment of Fabens, TX, not many citizens were seen walking outside. There were a minute amount of people seen outside a
gas station, filling–up their cars within the community. Additional citizens were mostly seen at University Medical Outpatient Clinic. Consequently,
there were neither tourists nor apparent visitors to this town except for us solitary Texas Tech students. Perhaps, the only noticeable, prospective
visitors may have been those individuals seen near an Interstate 10 gas station, situated on the edge of this township. Most citizens that were look to be
between the ages of 35–65 years old, with the exception of a hand–full of children. That was seen at the health clinic; ranging in between the ages of

insurance marketplace exchange. North Carolina is viewed as an example of the impact the ACA would have on the nation. North Carolina is one of
the states that chose not to expand Medicaid (Holmes, 2013). In this paper, I will explain my analysis of the impact of the ACA on North Carolina's
adolescent and young adult, working, non–working, and childless adult population.
Impact on North Carolina's Uninsured
The enactment of the ACA in 2014 would make it possible for more working and nonworking parents to qualify for Medicaid. Based on the income
levels, 51% of working and 37% of nonworking parents qualified for Medicaid prior to the ACA. Afterwards, the percentage increased to 138% for
working and nonworking parents, and childless individuals. The projections showed a 38% increase in the number of children 6–18 eligible for
Medicaid coverage and fewer on the North Carolina's Health Choice insurance plan. This increase would have been huge based on the case study
(Short, 2013). State officials chose not to go with the Medicaid expansion program, and instead offered marketplace exchanges. This could mean North

Planned Parenthood, a nonprofit organization which provides affordable reproductive care, currently receives government funding. Those in need of
affordable health care can go to PPFA for STI treatment, pap smears, and prevention of unintended pregnancies. The problem arises in PPFA's
prevention of unintended pregnancies, particularly abortion. But abortion is not the only issue the public finds in the organization. The public has

Florida Hospital has grown to be one of the largest healthcare providers in the United States. Impressively, Florida Hospital had a very humble
beginning and a modest growth. In 1908, a small group of Seventh Day Adventists in Orlando developed their vision of bringing health care to the
area. As part of their philanthropy, they were able to raise the funds necessary to purchase FloridaHospital's first facility near Lake Estelle. It was a
