The aim of Personal Development, Health
and Physical Education is to give each
student the knowledge, skills and attitude
needed to understand, value and lead
healthy and active lifestyles.
3. Physical Education
PE gives children the
opportunity to develop and
practice fundamental movement
skills such throwing, catching,
running and jumping
Physical activity can be fun,
creative and social and has
the potential to build a healthy
self esteem.
4. Personal Development,
Health
PDH encourages children to lead a
healthy lifestyle. Students learn ways
to achieve and maintain greater
mental, physical, social and spiritual
wellbeing.
PDH gives students opportunity to:
• communicate effectively,
• form positive attitudes about themselves
and others
• work cooperatively
• develop and maintain positive
relationships
