people about health. Areas within this profession

manner conducive to the promotion, maintenance, or
restoration of heath.

5. PHYSICAL EDUCATION
The benefits of physical activity in children
go beyond these physiological and public
health concerns. Children who exercise
regularly have higher levels of self-esteem.
Physical activity practices can have
immediate health benefits for adolescents as
well in that it helps normalise body weight
and body composition. Physical activity also
promotes positive mental health. Both of
these immediate outcomes may be useful in
motivating physical activity practices so that
they have long term benefits. Another one of
the main benefits of physical activity that it
keeps children and adults involved and that it
invariably makes you FEEL GOOD. A feeling
of deep physical relaxation commonly follows
vigorous activity, and physical relaxation is
usually accompanied by mental relaxation as
well.
