  2. 2. Anorexia Nervosa- An extremely dangerous disorder in which a person deprives themselves to starving. ‘’An imperfect body reflects an imperfect woman’’-Anonymous According to the National Institution, an estimate of 0.5 to 3.7 percent are diagnosed with an eating disorder.
  3. 3. Eating disorder- when a person experiences several disturbance in eating behavior. Experts say a combination of factors causes a person to develop an eating disorders.

  5. 5. 1.Parents 2.Family Members 3.Hospitals 4.Rehabilitation centers However some teens do not get help at all. Either they don't want help or family and friends really do not care.

  8. 8. * The Fashion Industry and the media show teen models being skinny and thin. Many teen models feel as though thinness is a success. Young girls are surrounded by images of thin, beautiful women, causing these girls to think that they need to be thin in order to be beautiful.
  9. 9. This fixation on weight can result in deadly eating disorders. Unfortunately some people don not view eating disorders in a negative light. Some websites teach young girls how to hide eating disorders away from others. ( Jill Meredith Collins)

  12. 12. The location is in New York City, right outside the suburbs. The tuition is 10,316 a year. The program requirements are high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) Fit has a great program. The university prepares students for creative and executive careers in the fashion industry. Fit mascot is the tiger!
  13. 13. The community service that I will do is feed the homeless and volunteer at an homeless shelter. I would do this because I don’t like to see people on the street begging for food, or money. If they come to the shelter I would be able to help them with all their problems will be happy I helped and they probably will be too.
