2. An old man revisits his old prison where he
spent most of his life and remembers his times
there, similarly to the Titanic movie. In his
flashback, he reminisces on the people he met,
the lessons he learned, and how he escaped to
return to his family.
We came up with the idea of basing our film off
a prisoner because my dad owns an abandoned
prison. We thought this would be a good way
to have something original and all liked the
idea of having a Titanic-like plot to our movie.
Movie Pitch
3. Opens to prison and man and grandson
walking through old building while talking.
Goes into old cell, which then transitions into a
flashback.
Sitting in cell while guard opens the door to
introduce new cell mate. They begin talking
about how they got there, their personal life,
how the main character has been there for 15
years, etc.
Begin talking about escaping, first as a joke, but
then seriously.
Have various different struggles in regards to
escaping, such as troubles with guards and
other inmates.
After 5 years of trying, they finally make it out
and the man returns to his family.
Returns back to present time with grandson.
