This is one of the opportunities that I got when going to Africa, Yurie Yoshimi is a school
within Uganda that my previous school had a connection with, when my dad stepped down
from the charity we kept the friendship with the headmaster of the school. This gave me
the chance to get in contact with him through my dad and ask if it would be ok to film when
I came to visit, this was ok so with permission from the media department, I was able to
take a camera out with me. From the photos that I’d seen and from what I have heard the
place was beautiful, and it lived up to expectations. I took around 4 or 5 establishing shots
of all of the ground from different perspective, which when totalled together with my voice
over, will hopefully look good. I chose to film there as the start of my story line is the
undercover detective from Africa moving back to Britain for the final job, I have seen films
with the same genre start of calm and them slam straight into action.

I chose to film on the aeroplane as with the storyline having me returning back from
Uganda on an aeroplane to England it would it quite nice, I also decided to add it in because
I know that not many people will have had the opportunity to film in such a cool place, so it
was a huge bonus to the film. To film I had to ask the crew but luckily the plane was
reasonably empty, so no one was offended by the camera.

I chose to film in the car park because as I was filming with a set of guns I had to be wary of
the police being called, and the risk of being out in public with a weapon replica. As I was
filming on Christmas I knew that the police would be around, so I figured it would be safer
to film in a car park. As Boscombe is just down the road from me there was no difficulty in
me filming there, or getting a car there. I am glad I made this decision as we were
undisturbed during our filming.
